Better to just spray the fog into the intake tube while holding start and stop buttons on the yamaha. Valvetrain is usually what rusts and this way coats it much better
How much anti-freeze stuff did u used ? Show the bottle, is it the same studd used for RVs ? Show the fog bottle ? How many sprays did you put in each cylinder , each time ? Can you show how to hook the hose ? Will the sea doo pump the anti freeze itself..or i pump it in ?
I used a gallon of antifreeze for each. Yes it is the marine and rv antifreeze(the pink one). As for the fogging and anti corrosion sprays, there are multiple brands out there so you can purchase which ever brand you prefer. The corrosion spray I used liberally (can never have enough). For the fogging spray Id hold for 2-3 seconds in each cylinder. The hose hookups to the seadoo like you would attach any normal garden hose attachment. The yamaha requires a special adapter to connect the hose. As I showed in the video I used a electric transfer pump to help force the antifreeze into the jet skis. You can also use a mechanical pump that attaches to a drill.
Like others - not trying to be critical but if this video is intended to be helpful, it was only SLIGHTLY helpful. Explaining exactly what you are doing - Especially when fogging the cylinders, would be more helpful. How does that method of Fogging COAT the cylinders unless you are actually Running the Ski? I was under the impression you are suppose to spray the fogging spray into the INTAKE While the Ski is Running until the engine shuts down. Then you know you have coated the cylinders. Then you can remove each spark plug and spray some into each cylinder from the top to protect the cylinders.
Hi, your vid is really informative. Between 7:15 to 7.:30 you said you turned over the engine to get the anti -fog thru the system. Do you mean you actually turned on the engine?
Just some criticism without disliking the video you didn't show what you used to spray into the cylinders. Could you explain what "fogging" is and what its called that you sprayed into the cylinders and how much you used? Sorry I just got my first ski and confused. But I didn't like the fast foward and the camera angle as you really didn't show anything. Even when you showed the stuff you used it was so fast I couldn't even pause on it to see it. Just some constructive criticism.
Appreciate the criticism, I know now for future. The fogging spray is labeled as that when you are looking for it at the store. And I only held down the nozzle for a couple seconds while pulling it up through the spark plugs hole. You want enough where it'll coat the cylinder walls but don't want an excessive amount in there. The fogging spray lines the cylinders so they don't rust during storage which can lead to engine failure down the road. Congrats on the new ski!

Maybe a few minutes, didn't take too long for it to get through the system and come out the back. Maybe around 3-5 minutes until I saw antifreeze come out the back.
I just went and checked my ski’s. They are 2002 XP’s. I have two threaded ports (one on each side of the jet pump). I see you only have one. Sorry for bothering you. I just got them this summer. Any ideas on what I should do?
the best way to winterise a jet ski - or wet bike as we know them - is to put some sugar in the tank and run it until it stops. This will ensure you don't inflict your little scooter on everyone within a mile radius. And who is this little boy who begins with 'whats goin on everyone' What does that mean Why doesn't he speak English ? Because he's sat on his wet bike for too long.

I just turn it over with the spark plugs out to it doesn't actually fire up.

Do you run the motor as you put in the antifreeze?
Yes, this way it pumps it through and pushes any water out.
I don’t believe you need to run the motor tho
