What went through Roddick's head? The guy had less than a 50% win ratio when he came to the net against Federer and yet he'd continuously attack the net.

I think the Roddick shirt change wasn't a great idea. Allowed Federer to see in his peripheral vision exactly where Andy was on the court. Especially for pass winners. The black shirt allows Federer to more quickly pick up on where Andy is moving on the court, more time opportunity for Feds to capitalise on hitting away from Andy more clearly.
Lol I don't think the shirt had anything to do with the outcome.

The reason you call Nole the GOAT now is becoz of 24 majors dude, and he got 10 of those when fed was 37, no rafa no Murray no delpo, his last 7-8 majors, his main competition has been the young genz who struggle to consistently even reach QF of majors.
Sorry to say but Safin, Hewitt, Ferrer were way too consistent & successful than young genz who start cramping when it gets tougher every now and then.
I respect what nole has achieved, but his entire 30s his main competition has been 35y+ Federer which obviously helped his cause, so say whatever you want but statistically djoker had the weakast era in the overall context.
