Simple instructions on how to install the game, and optionally to install the HDN mod if you want it;
1. go to www.americancon...
2. click the AC: Divided Nations banner
3. find the english version download links at the bottom, this will download an already installed, working folder of the game.
4. if the game doesn't run, and it very probably won't if you have a Win 7 or newer OS, download Verok' GL wrapper and place it where dmcr.exe is located
5. now you have a playable copy of AC:DN
Optional: install HDN
6. Be warned that this is a multiplayer only mod, there's no AI, and it's American Civil War only (no other factions)
7. download HDN from the link I provided above 1drv.ms/u/s!At...
8. Run the launcher and follow instructions (direct it to DN's directory)
9. let it update your folder (it will download the mod files from DN's server, hosted by the modmaker [HWK]Garnier, I believe it's hosted on mastersofthefield.com, the club where the most prominent american conquest mods were made)
10. finished.

To use these on HDN, place the scenario folder in your hdn_scn folder, and place the .m3d map file in the main Run directory (Where DMCR.exe is located)
The HDN Multiplayer focuses solely on the American Civil War, and is 100% multiplayer with no AI. Keep this at mind.
