- It's that time again... waiting on my UK visa result! As a Canadian living in the UK, this is my least favourite activity and unfortunately it never get easier! To continue my life in the UK, everything rides on this visa result.. fingers crossed. I'd really like to stay in the UK.

As in 2020, I am very happy that you get to remain with us, Alanna! It brightens a tricky time for me... After 12 years of renting, my landlord has decided to sell so I am beginning the throes of moving. The process of finding somewhere else that is suitable has been, I sense, as stressful as the wait for your VISA. Things seem to be going on a good track for us, however, and whether or not you're religious, you must surely feel as if things are happening for a good reason. Here's to many more Adventures and Naps for the foreseeable future!

Great to hear that raging inefficiency, idleness and bureaucracy are still thriving in all UK government departments, even after decades, if not centuries. I absolutely despair of my homeland, and far too frequently.
However, on the bright side, we do have our Alanna to help keep us sane. This sad little country is significantly improved by having you in it.
