It must be heartbreaking when you find a victim too late, but on the other hand it must be so rewarding when you find them alive. It is comforting to know that there are people out there like yourself who care enough to try and help those who are in dire need of that help. Thank You for caring!
Always be mindful of the weather, this guy was special forces and still got lost and injured. If he was someone without training the story might be different.. excellent work by everyone

This search and rescue was REALLY scary. The bad weather making the already dangerous steep terrain slippery was really alarming. So happy to see that the rescue was a success though! It always so important to remain calm during emergencies like these. I'm glad he got to go home after that long ordeal. Thank you Petr and the SAR people for bringing him home!

I am very glad to see that you guys managed to find him. It seems so easy to get lost of the trail with such thick vegetation. I wonder about his injuries, it almost looks like 3rd degree burns, is it purely from frostbite? Or did he take a fall and hit his face? Regardless I hope he managed to recover without too many lasting scars.
that was just dry blood on his face, I think after his falling he realised more moving will cost his life. He was good after couple days, but even for his age he was really fit
This guy not moving definitely helped in his rescue. If you are lost stop moving. The farther you go the harder it is for rescuers to not find you or even have a near miss. Staying put can save your life.

鹿谷是我的家鄉，那裏雖然不高，但常常有濃霧跟下雨，鳳凰山腹地很大的，連當地人也不敢在下午兩點後入山的，只能說奇跡出現了~

鳳凰山是滿容易走錯路的山
我曾經跟團去爬
在回程時
前面走很快的已經不見蹤影
後面走太慢的也有老手在壓隊
我走在中間
一直覺得是走在對的路上
結果往下走的太順
正確是往旁有一條路
差點走錯路
還好那時有一位先生在我後面連忙提醒我走錯了
所以大家就算跟團也要小心
爬山還是有他的風險的
