One skill I'd like to recommend as a replacement for Swift Wind Kick or Sweeping kick in 1v1 play is Flash heat fang. You trade DPS and slow by using it but It gives push immunity and is a hold cast that last up to 2.5 secs which you can release at any point. It's allows you to tank engagments from others and can net you some easy catches leading into your combos. Also a short CD of only 14 secs.
Perfect guide for beginners, every skill is explained very well. I'm using different combos but you definitely made me want to try some other combos. Another tips for striker player, save your lightning tiger strike for a super armor engage, do NOT use it in your combo to do damage unless you can finish the enemy with that.
Great advice, you can also use it to counter some CC's like Deathblade's for example. it's a great tool to get out of tough situations and not a lot of people use is defensively.

How come you take Enhanced Striker on SDA instead of Easy Target? I feel like you get more results out of it unless you're ONLY using SDA for engage and excluding it as a combo extender. I could be wrong though. Also not taking Esoteric Extortion on LW is a little weird imo, but whatever works for you works for you :)
SDA is honestly just personal preference, I prefer to get a consistent dependable damage output from it, Easy target doesn't work if the enemy is on the ground and recovering and that's quite sad most of the time, as for LW the extra gauge isn't really something you need since you'll almost always rebuild your orbs before LTS is off CD. It's not worth it compared to the alternative option which is Domination, Most of your damage is dealt to enemies knocked or being juggled so that's guaranteed extra damage instead of investing in a chance for critical damage. That being said, you have to max swiftness or the class will feel significantly heavier. Cheers

Umm, you cant go sweeping kick in 3s. Thats just trolling. I would say that even in 1v1 its still sub par to the Swift wind kick. Additionally if you don't take Phoenix in 3s you are lacking mobility and fov surprise attack that can set up your combo. This might have been good pre changes but right now its strait up lying to people if you say its "Meta". Not one GM striker is running that build or thinks that its better then phoenix/swift combo.
Appreciate your insight, However the differences are far less significant for you to make such a strong disagreement. SWK does lock you in animation which is terrible in 3's imo. Whether it's phoenix or BC they're both very viable and to this day I still see people run both. Again, nitpicking on a meta build and calling it straight lying out of personal preference ain't it fam, I've included both spells as options.
@@MixoZ SWK also gives you a ton more benefits and immunity where as sweeping gives you nothing. You can set up combos with SWK and you can get away from bad situations. For Sweeping you need set up otherwise its bad. And yes Sweeping also locks you in animation and you are stationary so no its not nitpicking. As for Phoenix its a must in 3s due to the gap closing ability and like i said FOV advantage. You show me one GM Striker that said that your build is better or meta than the one i said and i will take back my statement.
