Thanks for confirming that Bing Bong is officially gone, but not forgotten. This has been a very fascinating short interview and a slight in-depth BTS of Pixar's production of Inside Out 2. I'm glad you were able to pop that question. It's been on my mind ever since I saw the first film in the theater. Bing Bong... ;__; I wish they'd bring him back from the "Lost Memories" section, but I understand that viewpoint that it could cheapen his death. Out of the newest set of characters, I look forward to seeing two of them.
I much prefer the Bing Bong insights and shout out for Kelly than random, uninteresting things! You did brilliantly, Erik. I remember doing those high-pressure interviews, and they're not fun.
i loved this Erik! omg i definitely would NOT say you blew it at all! your questions seemed to really evoke thought and emotion from them and thats great! thank you for taking us inside your experience a bit :)
This was absolutely awesome, I even loved the banter at the beginning it was genuinely fun to watch. Also loved how you inceptioned them into your theory
Your questions were perfect! Almost all of these interviews are forgettable and making it personal leaves an impression. When the interviewees ask for more time, the interviewer nailed it!
Saw a really interesting video that theorized that Riley was potentially bisexual because she has both male and female presenting emotions, whereas everyone elses emotions only have the gender of the person
Awesome Video Erik!!! You didn't blow it at all! Those were Great Questions and I always prefer when Interviewers ask Fun Questions instead of the basic ones they always ask. It's Awesome that You got This Opportunity to see The Inside of Pixar! Also Congratulations to Your Wife for Working on This Fantastic Film! That's So Cool!
Ask your wife if she knows someone named Margot Zimmerman, she is a family friend of mine and she works on most Pixar movies, I think she worked on Inside Out 2. Also, I heard a rumor that it was going to be called MOOD, is that true?
Very cool! My cousin, Tony Maki, is a Story Artist for Pixar. I visited the place back in June last year and got to see a lot of cool things, hear about what he was working on and what he was moving to next. Seeing Pete Docter was a treat - his films are most of my favorites from Pixar. As a VFX/CG artist I was tickled to be immersed in such a creative and legendary workspace! Hey that optical motion capture camera system is very similar to my own for my garage :)
You did not blow it Eric!!!! They really seemed to enjoy your question!!!!! They probably have to answer the same things a lot and are refreshed by a different analysis of their work :)
It doesn't seem like you blew it. Just ran out of time. They seemed like they were into it and wanted to engage more if there would've been time. Hopefully it was fun practice and a good experience for you. Seems nifty how they are approaching it. I loved the first one and was nervous when the second was announced, but everything so far has seemed good.
Who knew Anxiety is the only emotion I don't fully understand, well that and sometimes Sadness due to my sensitive. I can tell Inside Out is one of a few Pixar fan favorite, so hopefully it won't suck, kinda like how Pixar has some regrets after they made Cars 2.😃😢😱🤢😡😰🥹😳🥱
I like that perspective that Bing Bong is remembered by Joy.
The lamp and ball statues on campus are awesome! And that dynamic camera is amazing.
Pixar is so clever because anxiety is carrying baggage
Emotional lugage

7:05 is gold... as a mormon that is pretty funny because there are people who are wired to always be happy.
Eric you're living my dream! Experiencing this vicariously through you is everything! I can't think of a person more deserving than you ❤
They clearly wanted to keep talking with you. You did great and I feel things are about to take off even more for you
3:29 - Hey look, it's not Dark from Orion and the dark

Of course the emotions have stuff- haven't you ever heard of emotional baggage? :P
This reminds me that I need to watch the first one before seeing the second in June.
