    Mine is stuck on after I let it run for several minutes to empty my tank following a trip. Assume it to be the same issue. I purchased a new one for like $35 but I plan to fix the old one like this to have a refurbished spare. Cheers!

      There is an extra terminal which can be removed if it does not fit in the housing (link above)

    Need help re wiring to new pressure switch

    • @AutoBuddynz
      @AutoBuddynz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what pump you have, but most of the time its wired in series so it does not matter which way the wires go, as its just a switch in-between a circuit.

    Can't I just wire the motor up direct? All I'm using the pump for is a transfer pump.

    • @AutoBuddynz
      @AutoBuddynz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can if your just using it as a transfer pump. Do note the run time of your particular pump as some cannot handle being on continuously for too long.
      The pressure switch is there to prevent pipes blowing off or rupturing from excessive pressure and to cut off the pump automatically.

      @@AutoBuddynz thank you. 21 min at a time. Just long enough to transfer water from truck to RV.
