You have to ship to a store (with ffl license) then do paperwork and background checks and whatever else your state requires just like if you found the gun in store and bought it.
I do feel the need to point out that you cannot, in fact, just have a firearm delivered to your house from a manufacturer or a dealer like that without an FFL (Federal Firearms License) which can be difficult to get and puts you well within ATF's radar. Usually you need to have them shipped to a local FFL (local gun store or someone who provides FFL services for such transactions) where they should comply with your state's necessary regulations (Background checks, waiting periods, paperwork, Ect..) before handing over the firearm.

"NO LEFTIST CAN TAKE MA GUN I HAVE A RIGHT TO BEAR THEM IT SAYS SO IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURE OF AMENDMENTS AND THEY CANNOT BE CHANGED EVER! STOP TRYING TO TAKE MY GUNS!"
Fre Sch see no.... 99% of gun nuts are like @Phillykiller777 and we just like our guns. But from a political standpoint we don’t believe it should be harder to purchase firearms. Because we already have federally mandated background checks and wait times. And for your argument of “oh they killed 3 year olds last week” we hate to see violence. Especially in our own country. But if those men killed people with guns, they’re 9/10 already illegally owned. Not to mention the school shootings, which schools are a gun free zone so that’s a no brainer of a broken law. Criminals DO NOT follow the law.... it’s literally their definition. So putting more laws in place will only make it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms and protect their families and other lives. And even if you somehow got everyone to surrender their guns and this country was 1000% gun free, people would still find a way to kill each other. Bad people will always find a way to do bad things. It’s sadly human nature.

Trent Landers I hope you're all joking, cause I've bought guns online and they have to ship to an FFL dealer with a transfer liscense then you have to pick it up after passing a background check and paying a transfer fee
Yeah, you have to open the browser and if Google isn't your homepage there's all that typing.. Then you need to click in the search bar and type your home city and "gun show", click the link, click the map and probably the event information to find the date. Then realistically you have to click on the shortcut to your bank and login and check your balance.. it is a LOT of clicking.
Two things that popped out to me are the fact that he thinks that buying guns is as easy as buying them off of Amazon (it’s not, you have to have them shipped to an FFL who runs a background check) and that he was sarcastic about PCCs being home defense guns (they’re probably the best option out there for home defense for just about anyone)
His main problem isn't the background checks, it's the fact that it's still too easy. You don't have to be trained or disciplined like in Japan, you just can't have any previous offenses and you're clear (except for domestic abuse apparently). Mental health checks also aren't universal (don't know about where you live though).

It's still easier compared to other countries.... U shud have to give a written psychological exam... Be interviewed by eligible officers and be entered into a waiting list... This shud be a bare minimum requirement

You must be fake. There is no way someone liking guns has common sense.
All Gun people I ever met were like "I HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE GUNS AS HUGE AS MA DICK HURR DURR" and when you try to reason "But they killed 3 year old kids with them. Shouldnt it be at least harder to buy guns? I mean a little regula..." "NO LEFTIST CAN TAKE MA GUN I HAVE A RIGHT TO BEAR THEM IT SAYS SO IN THE HOLY SCRIPTURE OF AMENDMENTS AND THEY CANNOT BE CHANGED EVER!
PrestigeNova soooo if not all crime is stopped, why try and stop it at all?
Reddy Shreddy that’s the most retarded thing I’ve ever heard. So your swing that if your mothers life was being held at gun point and you had the option to save her, you just say “oh well I can’t stop others from doing that either, so why should I try to save my mom?”
PrestigeNova nope I’m talking of your logic. “Well they could try and get it on the black market anyway” that’s like saying cause drugs can be smuggled illegally there’s no need for drug laws. This question was answered for many countries, America sadly isn’t one of em.
Where does Jefferies live? I cannot buy a gun and have it brought to my house. I live in Georgia.
“Pump action!!!!” *shows double barrel*
I can buy them with 1 click? All the other times I’ve had to fill out a crapload of paperwork.
Brad Wilber yea me too man. Weird right..
Yeah it's real easy. Just put in your card number and they'll send it directly to your house too.
Trent Landers I hope you're all joking, cause I've bought guns online and they have to ship to an FFL dealer with a transfer liscense then you have to pick it up after passing a background check and paying a transfer fee
Supahtripp X .....wow.....Ya don't say
Yeah, you have to open the browser and if Google isn't your homepage there's all that typing.. Then you need to click in the search bar and type your home city and "gun show", click the link, click the map and probably the event information to find the date. Then realistically you have to click on the shortcut to your bank and login and check your balance.. it is a LOT of clicking.
The inaccuracies and firearm ignorance you can cram into 6 minutes is incredible
It’s purposeful propaganda. Just remember who has the guns and who can take them from you. (No one)
Nut jobs.
Sure Mr. Florida!
Who cares? His base theory is spot on.
They are all semi automatic rifles and pistols also the use at 15 down south for hog hunting
You can't just buy those online and get it shipped to your house. It has to be shipped to a gun store first, where they then do a background check.
This Jefferies guy is a lying sack of shit, and his gullible viewers just eat it up.
Facts don't matter to the left...only emotions.
Sorry but I'm a Democrat and I go with facts. Yep a gun owning Democrat in Alabama. Crazy right? Lol
His main problem isn't the background checks, it's the fact that it's still too easy. You don't have to be trained or disciplined like in Japan, you just can't have any previous offenses and you're clear (except for domestic abuse apparently). Mental health checks also aren't universal (don't know about where you live though).
Well, if that's his main gripe, then why does he make up complete bullshit instead of just stating his case with facts?
wait...

Clutch would let u down before you even got to the store, and the engine would overheat and burn. It would be fun in a race track.
@Exterioris-vallem Ok, so we do a few warm up laps around the block, check in with the engineer, make sure that the temps are optimal, then race to the grocery store.
Daniel Goldstein f1 cars don’t use a lot of fuel. Full throttle they’ll use 2,5km/l, but than again they race at speeds up to 340km/h. If they drive a 100 km/h it will bring it down dramatically

I will dig a mote and lay mines, yes, thank you. And no you can’t buy those weapons online man 😂 they still get sent to a licensed dealer that still does all the checks and makes sure you have all the proper paperwork and clearances and secondly, yes I own them because they’re cool.
I watched this because Rob O'Neill was in the video. Jim Jefferies is not getting my sub though.
Thank you Rob O'Neill for your service.
The attempt at snark would be more compelling if Jim bothered to understand the subject matter he seems quite enamored with.
Rob seems like a nice guy. Disagree with him on a lot of shit, but he seems like a nice guy.
He didn't really say anything but teaching what gun is used, what do u disagree about?

I think I’m quite happy with my Navy Seals knife (with built-in window breaker and seatbelt cutter). Makes me feel like a badass when I’m opening packages and presents!
And here I thought a butterknife did the job just fine. :)
You see, if you had a 12 Gauge you could blow the package to bits and open it at the same time.
WERES YA F#KN CATAPULT! lol died laughing.
1:10, the point you're missing is that in order to buy a firearm, even a lower reciever, you have to get it shipped to a b&m shop. They way you're presenting this makes it seem like it's easy, which seems that way until you go to buy one.
Because driving to the gun store to pick up your item isn't easy?
It's still easier compared to other countries.... U shud have to give a written psychological exam... Be interviewed by eligible officers and be entered into a waiting list... This shud be a bare minimum requirement
The way you are presenting it still sounds ludicrously easy.
@@Sovereign_54 still go through a background check dumbfuck

Except, that's not even close to true. Any firearm has to be shipped to a licensed dealer who will run a background check on you. A quick Google search can find that answer real quick.
Ahhh come on jim! You can't just have a weapon sent to your house like that! You need an FFL bud!
I think he was making a point.
When did they change the laws so you can buy a firearm online and it shows up in your hands? Last I knew it had to ship to an FFL and you had to fill out paperwork and pass a background check...
Are we just not going to talk about the shotgun scaring the shit out of Jim at 2:13?

Yeah you can dude you can order them online in America
@@TheJacobshapiro
You absolutely can order guns online. You also absolutely cannot have one shipped to your house. Any firearm purchased online has to be sent to a registered FFL, which means you're filling out a 4473 and getting a NICS background check before you can get that gun.
@LOS ANGELES - 144 mm nope they have to be shipper to your nearest gun store who will then do background checks and paperwork
Zach Thompson you can if you have a FFL
ABSOLUTELY you can! This isn't some dark web shit. Go see for yourself right now. Order a gun. You can do it. You can be 12 years old. There's nothing stopping anyone. It is perfectly legal for me to mail a gun to you. You want a gun? I'm in Virginia....We don't even do background checks. Landon Ruff “illegal” just means the government didn’t get to stick their nose where it didn’t belong.
