I’m from the U.K. and this Dr is absolutely outstanding, he is clear, consistent and answers the questions with so much detail. I truly wish the best outcome for this young child.
Actually, that's what happens when you give a child to someone who has no heart or conscience. I would never hurt a child, ever. I was adopted at age of 7 and was never hurt by the adopted family. Too bad the person who carried me for 9 months and should have had a bond, didn't care or protect me. Sadly, I will never be able to physically have children due to the injuries I received from those who where biologically related to me. Bonds do not mean anything.
I don’t think the original comment was talking about DNA but rather an emotional bond which I assume u definitely have with ur adopted family. In this case the bio father was an absolute stranger and from what it seems like he didnt want any sort of emotional bond with his son. He just wanted to terrorize and torture him.
There's no way any of these injuries were caused by rescue attempts in the hospital! Children do not suffer these types of internal lacerations with CPR. This poor child.
Assuming that CPR did affect the heart for being weak at that time, my common sense is telling me that it was not possible that CPR could create the lacerations and bleeding in the other organs😮
@@mariaborrero957the lacerations are on the inside wall of the heart apex. CPR doesn’t cause those. I did my residency in the ER. Of all the times I’ve seen resuscitation done, only a handful of times a rib or sternum cracked during it.
This forensic pathologist was one of the best I’ve ever seen from a courtroom. He was clear, concise, organized, & clearly knows his field of work. It is unfathomable to me that a father could do this to his own child. There’s a name for a father who does that - a sociopathic monster!!!
This doctor knocked this testimony out the ball park. He spoke vividly and candidly and really made sure he explained every detail in layman’s terms for the jury to understand.
Yes, it was one of the most animalistic things I’ve ever seen and so cruel and unfathomable. And I love animals, so I hate to compare it to an animal, but it is when he’s picking him up the first time he falls off the treadmill and throwing him back on there as soon as he sticks his feet down on the treadmill, watch him. He bites the top of his head and pushes down on him for several seconds one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, and I watch a lot of true crime videos.
It was so horrific to watch. As a prior LEO and military veteran the savagery of what this coward did to that small boy was horrific. Watching him trying so hard to do what was, in a word, impossible to avoid that animal from beating him? It was heart wrenching.

Christopher Gregor first met Corey at 5 years old and after Christopher had custody of Corey for ONE YEAR, Corey was dead. I cannot even imagine how badly Gregor beat six year old Corey during that last year of his life.
One of the saddest parts is that Corey was likely so excited to have a dad just like all the other boys in school and wanted so much to spend time with his dad and tried so hard to make him proud but all the dad did was beat the boy down over and over and over.
That is the most painful part about this case. Corey would still be here and there would be one less heartache for the world. This did not have to happen.
I love how this doctor uses Corey's name and not " this child, the deceased, this boy" ...he says "Corey...." this doctor has put the final nail into this monster's coffin. Wrapped up nice and tight with a big red bow to hand over to the jury. 👍

The father is soooo guilty. If you watched the entire hearing, the lawyer of the defendant was trying hard to spot loophole but the doctor was just so experienced and intelligent.
Hard to imagine. You’d have to distance yourself to a degree, emotionally, in order to let the body of the dead child speak for the spirit of that child; in other words, have the strength to let the evidence speak the truth.

This Doctor was indeed the voice for this little boy. So incredibly knowledgeable. I can’t help but wonder what thoughts were racing through this little boy’s head during his dads mistreatment. He tried and tried so hard to please his dad…even though their relationship was fairly new. I’m sure he was so excited to meet and get to know his daddy. Only to be mistreated in so many ways😢. Those of us who are following this story have fallen in love with this little boy. Our hearts are broken for his momma and family, and the world’s loss of this beautiful soul.

She even tried to get emergency custody, but the judge denied it, his teacher also raised red flags and filed reports as well, the mother tried but was denied again 😢 and the very next day, little Corey died from all the Injuries he sustained at the hand of his father.

No. He demanded custody to save money, but probably quickly realized that he bit off more than he could chew because parenting is a hard and very time-consuming job. He took out his anger over the whole affair on Corey.

In this case the bio father was an absolute stranger and from what it seems like he didnt want any sort of emotional bond with his son. He just wanted to terrorize and torture him.

There's no way any of these injuries were caused by rescue attempts in the hospital! Children do not suffer these types of internal lacerations with CPR. This poor child.

Assuming that CPR did affect the heart for being weak at that time, my common sense is telling me that it was not possible that CPR could create the lacerations and bleeding in the other organs😮

This forensic pathologist was one of the best I’ve ever seen from a courtroom. He was clear, concise, organized, & clearly knows his field of work.

This doctor knocked this testimony out the ball park. He spoke vividly and candidly and really made sure he explained every detail in layman’s terms for the jury to understand.

Yes, it was one of the most animalistic things I’ve ever seen and so cruel and unfathomable. And I love animals, so I hate to compare it to an animal, but it is when he’s picking him up the first time he falls off the treadmill and throwing him back on there as soon as he sticks his feet down on the treadmill, watch him. He bites the top of his head and pushes down on him for several seconds one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, and I watch a lot of true crime videos.
It was so horrific to watch. As a prior LEO and military veteran the savagery of what this coward did to that small boy was horrific. Watching him trying so hard to do what was, in a word, impossible to avoid that animal from beating him? It was heart wrenching.

Christopher Gregor first met Corey at 5 years old and after Christopher had custody of Corey for ONE YEAR, Corey was dead. I cannot even imagine how badly Gregor beat six year old Corey during that last year of his life.

He clearly beat him so bad he had external injury AND liver lacerations BUT the stress cardio myopathy suggests that treadmill incident WAS NOT the only time his poor heart was stressed. The doctor said it was ongoing stress.

This Doctor was indeed the voice for this little boy. So incredibly knowledgeable. I can’t help but wonder what thoughts were racing through this little boy’s head during his dads mistreatment. He tried and tried so hard to please his dad…even though their relationship was fairly new. I’m sure he was so excited to meet and get to know his daddy. Only to be mistreated in so many ways😢. Those of us who are following this story have fallen in love with this little boy. Our hearts are broken for his momma and family, and the world’s loss of this beautiful soul.
