I remember the first time i caught wind of the project and heard you were in Oregon. Every chance i would get, id jump on my bike and hit the trails and back roads hoping to cross paths with the big blue van. Great stuff! Love your work.
Inspiring work. In the days of point , shoot, don't think digital ' photography ' I find this sort of thing giving hope to us few who still use sheet and roll films. Your subjects displayed immense pride and dignity and the photographs of the stunning young lady was a revelation. Thanks from UK.
This is incredible. Yesterday I took a class in wet plate photography and I'm enamored by it. Learned how to prepare the plates, sensitize them, shoot them, develop, and varnish them. You rock Ian! I've been showing your work to my students for several years now and it immediately changes the way they think about photography.

Uh, you do know there is a camera in your phone, right?
+Abigail Sockeye Do you know, that it's like comparing Justin Bieber to J.S. Bach? Both are music, but comparing two is actually pretty impossible.
can't believe that I read this... LOL
@abigail sockeye just here to remind you of this comment you made 5yrs ago that exposes you as a dumb ass.
