It's canon that Salazzle will allow any male creature into her harem, even her own trainer. Combined with humans and Pokemon marrying centuries ago, it's not out of the question that Pokemon sometimes develop romantic feelings towards humans.
@@michaelkeha Yet not as well as Ditto though. Latias does alter her appearance by reflecting light as a mirror but that hasn't been spoking further about how that works like being illusionary or actual shapeshifting.
so about pokemon lore, here's a short list of relevant events: - the creation of the pokeworld - primal clash between groudon and kyogre and rayquaza's intervention - the ancient AZ war - the creation of area zero, it's exploration and the time travel - eternatus falling from the sky as a meteorite and the original darkest day - the sun/moon king and the cosmog evolution story - individual pokedex entries and many more
From the top of my mind -the Original dragon and the twin princes kingdom from Unova -The ultra beast world lore -The Alternative timelines with and without megastones from ORAS -Regions without a name but where cuarrent pokemon come from -The dissaperance of SS Anne from Kanto -What is the catastrophy than Watson proyect [bunker the City] was trying to survive of - The abandoned ship lore and his relation ship with Drake from the elite 4 -Sinjoh ruins and the unknown -The Og team where Archie and Maxie meet and where part of before going their own way -What was the war LT Surge was part of? And which regions where in conflict -The ghost Girls and the help sing from Kalos [this is not lore but is a cool mistery ] Etc
Funny thing is, on the official Pokemon website page for Hisuian Zoroark, it says that it hates everything that is living, but it is a loyal Pokemon, so as long as you gain its trust, it can be a powerful ally.
Pokemon lore is INCREDIBLY complicated post-USUM. There's three different universes, four different timelines, and like... fifteen pocket dimensions and a hierarchy of gods with so much drama that the Greek Pantheon would blush. It's genuinely hilarious how deep the lore to games with mostly 2-note plots goes.
I thought it started at oras as it messed up the timeline completely by having multiple different timelines in which some have megaevolution and others don’t if I remember correctly.
@@jonasg.bisgaard1086 Partially, Two timelines come from it, a third from USUM. Also I wouldn't say it "Messed it up", just explains why everything prior to Gen 6 doesn't have Mega Evolution without just saying "____ isn't canon". Honestly they made the smart call, considering the Lore of Mega Evolution implies that It'd have existed in small quantities around the world in and is just the most easily located in Kalos (Because of the Ultimate Weapon and Mega Stones being crystalized Infinity Energy) and Hoenn (Because the Meteor used by Rayquaza is the first discovery of Mega Stones canonically).
So when it comes to lore, the fact that a Pokémon multiverse exists and the games are split across 4 distinct timelines is terrifying and vague and is enough for you to know, Pokémon lore goes deep
4 at minimum. The link cable in ORAS implies each COPY of a game may be it's own timeline, since link cables were an actual item needed to trade pokemon back in the gameboy days
Actually, Pokémon lore is about as shallow as a puddle because Gamefreaks has put exactly 0 thought into it. It's 100% the fans who started connecting things and figured stuff out and created multiple timelines, only for Gamefreaks to put ultra wormholes in Ultra Sun and Ultra moon and basically go "yeah, there's a multiverse. That we absolutely, without a doubt created. Yep".
@@itsturniptime3699 All the same, I don't believe gamefreaks ever put any thought into it originally. It's only after the fans did all the work that they started putting it into the games.
Pokemon lore, Arceus hatched out of nowhere. Then he decided to creat the world with his 1000 arms, AKA Arceus origin form. Then he created Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. Then Mew were born or created and used the transform to changed they're form into different shapes and sizes until to the point that they dont untransform and sticked to the form as they're main form hence the different species
In legends Arceus, the Arceus we obtain in the game is implied to be one of those 'arms'. Quite a few people believe that the beta sprite of Arceus is the supposed origin form.
till this day, nobody could convince me, that Gamefreak didnt made an error with Mew being the first on Earth. Ditto makes FAR more sense. Mentally exchange Mew with Ditto in your Sentence and read it out loud.
@@grip3939 i know that this theory exists. But think about that: What if Dittos arent failed Clones of mew, but its preevolution? We have examples of Legendaries/mythical Pokémon, who are not unique instances of itself. Legendaries with Evolutions. Legendaries that came into existence via Mutation of normal Pokémon. Ditto > (Evolution/Mutation) > Mew > (Evolution/changing Form because of human Intervention) > Mewtwo
The whole shiny hunting comment at the start reminded me of something a friend said the other day. "Breeding for competetive Pokémon is applied eugenics."
Selective breeding of Pokémon is simply what it is: selective breeding. But eugenics is just selective breeding applied to humans. So yeah, it's effectively the same thing.
@@acedemon2939 Looking at every mainline game, there seems to be at the very least 3 different concurrent timelines that exist. The first timeline is just the original RBY and GSC. There’s no trade ability between these and the rest of the games, real world references are blatant. The second timeline is the non-Mega timeline. This has RSE, FRLG, DPPt, BW, and B2W2. No Megas, the sprite work is consistent. Also the Kanto and Hoenn games, and Johto and Sinnoh games, happen at the same time. Then there’s the Mega timeline, with the “modern” gams. This includes ORAS, BDSP, XY, SM/USUM, SwSh, and ScVi, in that order. Megas (or references to them) exist, Looker is present, a stolen Type: Null appears in Galar, and Sonia’s book appears in Paldea. The Let’s Go games are also counted here, but some fans don’t count them. I forgot exactly why. And that’s only one interpretation of it all. Maybe RBY and GSC can take place with RSE and DPPt and BW/B2W2. This could then leave BDSP happening with FRLG and HGSS as its own thing. The Mega timeline can also be split off into smaller timelines depending on how you scrutinize the details. Mostly people cut it off with SwSh and ScVi being its own thing. Of note, SuMo and USUM are interchangeable, so the one you don’t decide as part of a timeline can count as its own by itself. Different events happen in each one, but the same story is ultimately told. In USUM, Rainbow Rocket exists, a multi-dimensional organization made up of evil team leaders of whom had WON in their timeline. That means timelines exist where the evil teams had won AND the player character never appeared whatsoever, as Lysander points out. And Legends Arceus has no specific allusions in any way. That’s not even getting into the Paradox Pokemon, who come from the past or future of a timeline(s) parallel to the one we’re in in ScVi. Overall, there is some sort of through-line between each mainline game to allow these multiple timelines to happens, but it can get confusing, and there is no one real answer.
@@acedemon2939 Bare minimum 5... as many as... well infinite lol. I guess low balling 8 is also possible. You got the base timeline (RBG, GSC, RSE, DPP, BW1, and BW2), the remake timeline (FRLG, HGSS, and BDSP). The mega timelines there's 2, XY, ORAS, PE, and either SM or USUM. Meanwhile 2nd mega timeline is the other, XY, ORAS, and PE could fit in this too. Mystery Dungeon games meanwhile are their own timeline too, even if spin offs they can still be figured in. Since the meteor containing Deoxys is relevant in the 1st games R/B Rescue Team, RSE, and ORAS. In R/B RT there are no humans, Deoxys is inbound to destroy the planet, so you a human transported to this Pokemon only world, and your partner go to Rayquaza to ask it to destroy the meteor. Rayquaza does. Then in RSE Deoxys harmlessly hits the ocean... which honestly still shouldn't be harmless lol, there'd still be mass destruction just on a smaller scale, could cause tsunamis. Meanwhile Deoxys is inbound in ORAS ready to destroy the planet again, if you don't see Rayquaza, mega evolve it, destroy the meteor, and battle Deoxys in space. PE may also be on its own timeline, since Red and Blue are older, having started their journeys 1 year prior, being 12 in PE's events, while in RBGY and FRLG the protagonists/rivals were 11. Then one could also argue Yellow is its own timeline, being based off the anime, it can be argued that isn't Red, but possibly Ash, or heck even Chase from PE (PE being remakes of a game based off the anime... based off the games lmao). So 3rd games could even be their own timeline, especially Emerald and Platinum. Emerald events differ from Ruby, Sapphire, OR, and AS, that both Groudon and Kyogre have awakened, Wallace is Champion not Steven, among a few others. Then Platinum is even further in its own realm, likewise Cyrus summoning both legendaries, Giratina shows up, says nah dude, I'll let you summon one of my bros but not both, then yoinks Cyrus to the distortion world... to which the distortion world is its own world too, and who knows what the timeframe of that world is, Giratina being capable of manipulating both space and time. Legends Arceus meanwhile is 3 years after the events of DPP or BDSP, making Dawn and Lucas 15 in LA... ahem ok I won't get into the timeframe of the Pokemon universes and ages of the protagonists/rivals unless you want me to in another comment lol. Short story, BW1 onwards the games have roughly mirrored our own world's timeline. Unknown which timeline LA is on too because no evidence of megas or no megas, same with SwSh and SV. While BDSP clearly doesn't, especially since at the very least Cynthia would have her Garchomp going mega like she does in SM and USUM. THENNNNN there's the animes and Pokemon Adventures mangas, that are also on their own timelines. Ash's anime series is its own timeline, a world Red was never born, Blue was named Gary, Ethan/Gold was named Jimmy, megas exist, Giga/dynamax exists, etc. Then there's other animes like Pokemon Origins, where Red has Mega Charizard X, and its unknown if it falls in line with any of the game timelines. Meanwhile Pokemon Generations Red had a Bulbasaur in his fight against Pikachu, so that was his starter not Charmander. Which also mirrors the manga, but unknown if it's tied to the manga timeline or not. The Pokemon Adventures manga has megas etc like the anime, but no Ash, has Red starting with Bulbasaur, Blue has Charmander, and Green has Squirtle. Then that goes into Leaf vs Green, who are confirmed by Gamefreak to be 2 different characters, not the same. Going into a fan theory I made, so don't consider this possibly canon, but theory is that Leaf and Green are mirrors to the anime's Amber. This may explain why Green isn't in RBGY (irl reason she was cut because they ran out of time), Leaf could be the original, or a successful clone, raised by Red's mom, while Green is most likely a clone. At the very least she wasn't raised properly, theory or no theory in PE, not knowing much difference between Pokemon and humans, as she tries to catch you. She brushes it off as a joke... but then tries again, and asks if she can be your master. Green certainly is an odd ball lol. Theory or no theory there is something separating Green and Leaf from being the same person, just like Ash vs Red, while Blue and Gary are for all intents and purposes the same character.

That Spheal helped by providing a different perspective on the problem. Upside-down is a different perspective compared to right-side-up. Thank you Spheal. You were very helpful.
Washing isn't an attack on the Pokémon itself, and the closest move would actually be Soak, which would be removed the next time they enter battle if using it out-of-battle works the same as in-battle; even if using Soak on a Pokémon outside of battle was permanent, a pure Water-type Graveler is better than a Graveler that would take 50% more damage in _Super Smash Brothers Ultimate_ just because someone was salty that you had better RNG than them, or a regular Graveler for that matter.
I figure they would be fine if you used a garden hose and a scrub brush since those aren't attacks and have no power or damage, it's not like a rock breaks just because you poured a glass of water on it.
The anime has lore, the games have lore, the original manga has lore, alternate universe lore and of course the lore of a manga were people can fuse with their pokemon
There are 3 flavors of Pokemon lore. Manga, anime, and games. In terms of manga, highlights are Lance nuking a city with (Final Flash)Hyperbeam, girls being banned from being Pokemon trainers, and Death. In terms of anime…just everything Ash did and then the new girl. In terms of games, if you play game 1 you know game 1 lore, game 2, game 2 lore, so on so forth.
The Deep in The Boys comic is actually one of the good heroes. They just made fun of him a lot, similar to how Aquaman was made fun of by fans for talking to fish.
@6:14, you could use a sand blaster, it's sometimes used to strip paint off of cars, and most ground types are immune to sandstorm so it shouldn't hurt it much if at all
Washing with water wouldn't hurt, since washing isn't a move, and the closest thing is Soak, a status move that would actually _benefit_ the Kantonian Graveler, as pure Water is a much more solid defensive typing than Rock/Ground, or its why-do-sequences-still-not-matter-defensively counterpart, Ground/Rock, for that matter.
The man has so many pokemon plushies in the background yet he doesn't get how Pokemon lore is complex. Well Noble, first we have to start with the discussed discrepancy in creation with Arceus and Mew. Then we~
11:03 this reminded me of an app along time ago. It was pikachus face inside a tv. And you could watch ALL the Pokémon episodes in there, gen 1 to black and white. All you needed to do, was wait for the next episodes rotation. God I miss those days.
@@Tsupek if it weren't for the opening mouth part, I'd preferably go with the headcanon that she just wants to help. but that smile tells a different story
Every single Pokémon have their own lore Along with the anime & manga And on the top you got timelines history and even school classes +the story of every single person/NPC
There’s a lot of lore including multiple timelines, the ultimate weapon, creation myths, various wars and multiple events that nearly destroyed the world. And that’s not going into theories which get wild
10:40 she is helping him out, Noble. She will breed with him and bare his children, carrying on his legacy! And probably take him back to her den where she'll keep him to herself.

In the pokeworld, there's 4 game universes, 3 manga timelines, and then there's the anime, which branched off into different timelines during movies. Like the black and white movies, and the one where ash fights marshadow since it wasn't his original story.
The Pokémon lore is insane, the games only touches on it, the mangas are where there is an insane amount & still has nothing on the massive amounts of lore that can be found in Dex entries & other sources randomly hinted by the creators
11:45 they stole my idea lmao, I stand baby Pokemon as long as it serves lore purposes, and made my own as a kid too. Absol, a baby to tie Tauros and Miltank together, Volbeat and Illumise, also Tropius and Lapras. Something I'm doing with my fan game idea.
4:10 short answer... yes even back in gen 1. That Mr Fuji the guy who gives you the pokeflute and Blaine are responsible for Mewtwo existing, having worked under Giovanni to make it. The 200 year prior event to Johto games, of the lightning storm hitting the brass tower, leading Lugia to find a new home in the ocean being its tower, while Ho-Oh's was the bell tower, then the 3 nameless Pokemon perishing in the fire. Ho-Oh bringing it back to life. That there's been multiverses since RSE, then even more so in Platinum in conjunction with DP and BDSP. Bare minimum Kanto the Mewtwo creation Johto the Ekruteak fire Hoenn the prehistoric battle between Groudon/Kyogre and Rayquaza stopping the fighting (in Emerald's case twice, in ORAS case with mega and primals) Sinnoh/Hisui the creation of the pokemon universe and Giratina's rebellion leading to its banishment to the distortion world (which is its own parallel universe) Unova the twin hero princes, that befriended the One Dragon, argued all the time, so the One Dragon split its soul in 1/2 leading to Reshiram and Zekrom being born. Then the body was flung from the split, crashing with a meteor like force creating the giant chasm, where Kyurem, the zombified remains of the One Dragon, was born, and would kidnap humans and Pokemon alike to consume to keep itself alive, thus the nearby town built a wall around the crater. Unova 2, events of BW, then the events of BW2 leading to Kyurem becoming alive... without spoiling too much lol. Kalos the war of 1000 years ago, where AZ fired a cannon and caused mass genocide to Pokemon and human alike out of revenge, thus leading to him also obtaining immortality. Leading to Lysander, being the descendant of AZ's brother, wanting to do the same because the world is ugly, and only those he deems beautiful can live. Alola the war between the ultra beasts and Tapus of ancient times, along with the Cosmog line There's at least 5 timelines for the games. RBGY-BW2 the original timeline. XY/ORAS/gen 7/PE the mega timeline 1. SM and USUM are 2 separate timelines, take your pick which one is on the mega timeline 1, but there's at least 2 since events of USUM differ drastically from SM. SM where Lusamine goes bat shiz bonkers chaotic evil, vs lawful good villain Lusamine and Necrozma the parasitic living black hole trying to consume Solgaleo or Lunala to restore its life. Then the remake timeline for FRLG, HGSS, and BDSP where megas don't exist, but events are still different from the originals, such as sevii isles in FRLG, the beast trio are roaming Kanto, Red adds a Lapras to his team on Mt Silver for HGSS, vs in GSC he had an Espeon. Rayquaza has a Jade Orb discovered by Mr Pokemon in Johto, and the Safari Zone is rebuilt in Johto. 8 if we count the Mystery Dungeon spin off series, the anime, and the manga Pokemon Adventures. Technically possibly 6 more, since USUM post game also had the villains from their own timelines where they won, Giovanni won, Maxie dehydrated the Earth and won, Archie flooded the Earth and won, Ghetsis, Lysander, Cyrus each won in a timeline.
Also forgot, Giovanni losing the opportunity to catch Mewtwo his own creation, failing to get the master ball so he can catch Mewtwo, because of an 11 year old child beating him. Disbanding Team Rocket. Moving on to Johto, the Celebi event, giving you DLC, showing Silver your rival of gen 2, is the biological son to Giovanni. Giovanni almost being brought back, but then losing to Gold/Ethan (I guess just Ethan, since Gold is his name in GSC, and he doesn't face Giovanni in those games). Thus disbanding Team Rocket for good (until an alternate reality Giovanni who did succeed makes Rainbow Rocket and travels to Alola USUM), Team Rocket never comes back in the main 5 timelines thanks to Red/Ethan/... whatever the protagonist's name is in PE. This also leading to a Rocket Grunt, who stole the power plant generator in the Johto games, moving away. Then several years later (which is how people have figured out the actual timeframe between all the games) he is living in Unova in BW1, has a preschooler kid with his wife, he's now a rough neck, sooo roughly 4+ years. His son being a preschooler, kid must be 3-4, and assuming they got busy right after away lol, bare minimum 4 years have happened since the Johto and Sinnoh games (which take place at the same time) while Kanto/Hoenn were 3 years before Johto/Sinnoh. So by the events of BW1 Red starting his journey at 11 (rivals share the ages with their protagonists except N and Wally), Gold/Ethan at 12, Red is roughly 18, Gold/Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Lucas, and Dawn are all 16, while Brendan and May started at 12, making them the oldest protagonists at roughly 19. Wally is 10 when he starts his journey, so he'd be roughly 17, while N is I believe... 21 or 22? Can't remember. Then BW2 is 2 years after BW1. Protagonists of BW1 and 2 are 14-15 when they start their journeys. Not sure how it was figured, but have heard XY is either same time or a couple years after BW2, heard mixed things, but all the protagonists/rivals are 17-18, Trevor and Shauna seem younger so maaaaybe they're 16-17, but they could be 18 too, while Serena and Calem are confirmed 18. Then gen 7 onwards they went back to making protagonists 11... until Legends Arceus. LA the protagonists are 15, and are Dawn and Lucas again, meaning they've aged 3 years after the events and their journeys through the Sinnohs of Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, BD, or SP. While clearly Akari/Rey in Hisui (Dawn/Lucas' rivals), are obviously the same ages. I think it's confirmed SwSh protagonists are 11 too... but unconfirmed not just how long it's been since Alola's events, or if it's sooner, or hell what timeline it's on, if there's megas or not. Same is true of SV (well protagonists are 11, while your rivals are clearly older, Nemona etc). Meanwhile we see Red and Blue in SM and USUM, and through calculations and characters being checked on (forget who) it's confirmed the timeframe of the Alola games, Red and Blue are roughly 29, 30 late 20s early 30s. All this taken into account, BW1 onwards the games have followed our own timeline and time frame irl. Me who was like 5-7 about the time of the Johto games, was about 13-15 when BW1 came out, I was 17-19 (not comfortable giving my own age lol) when XY came out. That's why all that is important lol, to show how the games have roughly followed our own world's timeframe. Showing the depth of the Pokemon timelines.
11:20 it’s some straight up bullshit is what it is for what possible reason would they spread out all these seasons instead of centralizing it on a single app like they could’ve with Pokémon TV?
Here 1% out of 100% of the lore The plots of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, and LeafGreen and Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire are contemporaneous. They are then followed by the plots of Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver and Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl three years later, which are also contemporaneous with each other, although dialogue from Jasmine and Cynthia provides conflicting evidence on which games occur first.[note 2][note Pokémon Black and White are set some time after this, as evidenced by Caitlin having visibly aged, as well as Cynthia and the Team Rocket Grunt who stole the Machine Partreferencing previous events. Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are set two years after Black and White, and are contemporaneous with Pokémon X and Y. Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon take place two years after the events of Black 2 and White 2, as revealed by concept art of Grimsley.[2] Pokémon Sword and Shield's placement is more vague, with little direct connection to previous games, though the Pokédex entry for Type: Null in Sword mentions that stolen research notes led to the creation of more Type: Null,[note 4] which could imply that they take place after the events of Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, as only three Type: Null exist in those games. Porygon's creation Porygon's Pokédex entries in Pokémon Sun, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon state that it was created 20 years ago.[note 5] Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia states that Porygon was created in 1995, as well as stating that 150 species of Pokémon have been discovered as of 1996, alluding to the player having completed their Pokédex in Pokémon Red and Green,[note 6] thus implying that Pokémon Red and Green take place in either 1995 or 1996. This would mean that Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon take place 19-20 years after Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow; from this information and the time lengths between other games in the series, it can be calculated that the time period between Generation II/IV and Pokémon Black and White is 12-13 years long. However, the length of this time gap has never been explicitly confirmed in any official material, with Toshinobu Matsumiya having described it as "secret" on Twitter.[3] Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Although Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, they contain some references to features from the original games as having been present about a decade ago,[note 7] while others have not yet come about, such as the Battle Frontier, which is under construction. Despite this, the remakes are implied to happen at the same point in the timeline as the original games, as the Royal Unova and a device to visually reproduce the dreams of Pokémon having not yet been created reveals them to take place before Pokémon Black and White[note 8][note 9] and Mr. Bonding gaining O-Powers reveals them to take place before Pokémon X and Y.[note 10] Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! Although Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! are remakes of Pokémon Yellow, Red and Blue are known to have already finished their journeys years ago, and Mina's age mentioned in her concept art would suggest that the games are set a maximum of six years before Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon,[4][note 11] implying that they take place later than the original game. However, this is contradicted by Sabrina having a vision of meeting a special Trainer in three years, referencing the protagonist of Generation II, suggesting these games may not necessarily adhere to the timeline of the rest of the core series. References to real-life years and release dates The specific years of events are not mentioned in the games themselves, but Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia implies that Pokémon Red and Green take place in 1995 or 1996, the latter being the year in which they were released; this year is also referenced in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon on Red's shirt, which features a symbol resembling the number "96". Pokémon Gold and Silver are known to occur three years later, also aligning with their release in 1999. Similarly, Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are set two years after Pokémon Black and White, which was also the amount of time that passed between the releases of the games. References to the passage of time in real life also appear in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, in which the player's mother states that she saw the Litleonids when they last occurred 12 (in the Japanese and Korean versions) or 11 (in the English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish versions) years ago, referencing the time between the release of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire and their remakes, and Norman mentions having seen the Eon Ticket 11 years ago, referencing how long had passed from the item's original distribution in 2003 to the release of the games. Similarly, in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl, the description of the Member Card mentions that the last date marked on it was 50 years ago; the date shown on the card's official artwork (1958.12.1) is exactly 50 years prior to its first distribution. In a vortex of complete chaos and nothingness, a single Egg comes into being, which then hatches into Arceus, the first being in existence. Arceus then creates time: Dialga, space: Palkia, and anti-matter: Giratina. However, Giratina, as punishment for its destructive nature, is sent by Arceus to live in the Distortion World. Dialga and Palkia then succeed in creating the universe and Pokémon world and retreat into their own dimensions afterwards. The Sinnoh region is created around Mount Coronet. During this violent procedure, Stark Mountain is created due to shifts in the crust of the world, and Heatran is formed in a pool of lava. Arceus creates the Adamant Crystal, the Lustrous Globe, and the Griseous Core, artifacts connected to Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, respectively, before falling into a deep slumber in its own realm. Prehistory During the last Ice Age, the Mamoswine population flourished, then decreased when the Ice Age ended. Cyclizar existed in this era and lived alongside humans, being ridden by them so the Pokémon can be warmed up. At some point in the distant past, the Magikarp population mutates due to unknown reasons and becomes weaker. At some point after the Iron Age, Regigigas is sealed away by humans in the Snowpoint Temple in Sinnoh, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel are sealed away at various points across HoennRSESinnohDPPtBDSP/GalarSwShCT, and Regieleki and Regidrago are sealed away together in Galar's Crown Tundra due to fear of their power after years of worship. 5,000 years ago: Gogoat is domesticated & humans begin using them for transport. 3,000 years before Generation V: AZ and the ultimate weapon The Kalos war occurred, which caused the death of an Eternal Flower Floette that belonged to the Kalos's king, AZ. In grief, the king built a machine that through Infinity Energy, brought Floette back to life, as well as granting both the king and the Pokémon eternal life. Unable to overcome his despair however, AZ turns his machine into the ultimate weapon and used it to end the war, which left Floette disgusted by his actions, deciding to leave him. After that, the former king started to wander aimlessly around the world. 3,000 years before Generation VIII: A black storm called the Darkest Day is created by Eternamax Eternatus, causing countless Pokémon to Dynamax and Gigantamax around the Galar region, but it was stopped by Zacian, Zamazenta, and two human youths. While the two Pokémon are forgotten by history, the two youths are crowned as the region's new kings. Melmetal is worshipped by ancient humans for its ability to create metal from nothing. 2,500 years before Generation V: The Relic Castle is built. The Dragonspiral Tower is known as Unova's oldest structure, though its age is unstated. 2,000 years before Generation V: Conkeldurr is said to have taught humans how to make concrete using centrifugal force. 2,000 years before Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire: Hoenn is plagued by meteor showers. A meteor turns the homeplace of the Draconid people into Meteor Falls. The world overflowed with natural energy which Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre fought over. They ravaged the earth and were only defeated and put to slumber by Rayquaza after the Draconid people summoned it using a wish on a meteor at Meteor Falls. The people of Hoenn begin to revere Rayquaza as a savior. 2,000 years before Generation IX: From there, they capture Mewtwo and meet Green, a Trainer who had hoped to capture Mewtwo for herself. They also confront Archer, an admin of the remnants of Team Rocket, who challenges them to one last battle before swearing that he will avenge his boss, Giovanni. But that's barely any of the lore

- eternatus falling from the sky as a meteorite and the original darkest day
- the sun/moon king and the cosmog evolution story
- individual pokedex entries

-What was the war LT Surge was part of? And which regions where in conflict
-The ghost Girls and the help sing from Kalos [this is not lore but is a cool mistery ]

It's even worse. Every single copy of the game is its own multiverse.

Also all the creation myth of all the region.
Yep".
@@NeroCM The multiverse thing was literally a major plot point in the Delta Episode for ORAS
@@itsturniptime3699 All the same, I don't believe gamefreaks ever put any thought into it originally. It's only after the fans did all the work that they started putting it into the games.

Pokemon lore,
Arceus hatched out of nowhere.
Punching sunflowers to find Sunflora is normal
In legends Arceus, the Arceus we obtain in the game is implied to be one of those 'arms'. Quite a few people believe that the beta sprite of Arceus is the supposed origin form.
till this day, nobody could convince me, that Gamefreak didnt made an error with Mew being the first on Earth. Ditto makes FAR more sense. Mentally exchange Mew with Ditto in your Sentence and read it out loud.
@@smaragdwolf1 yeah, then you found out that Ditto are failed clones of Mew. Reason why they can't permanently hold they're transformation unlike Mew
@@grip3939 i know that this theory exists. But think about that:
What if Dittos arent failed Clones of mew, but its preevolution?
We have examples of Legendaries/mythical Pokémon, who are not unique instances of itself. Legendaries with Evolutions. Legendaries that came into existence via Mutation of normal Pokémon.
Ditto > (Evolution/Mutation) > Mew > (Evolution/changing Form because of human Intervention) > Mewtwo
The whole shiny hunting comment at the start reminded me of something a friend said the other day.
"Breeding for competetive Pokémon is applied eugenics."
Selective breeding of Pokémon is simply what it is: selective breeding.

4:21 Where do you want to start? The in-game lore, the meta lore, or the multiple timelines?
I'll be first to ask. give me the multiple timelines please and thank you
@@acedemon2939 Looking at every mainline game, there seems to be at the very least 3 different concurrent timelines that exist.
@@acedemon2939
Bare minimum 5... as many as... well infinite lol.

Fake rock type trainer, just sandblast it, forehead.
What type are most sand based pokemon? Ground.
What is one of the weakness of Rock type? Ground.
The mountain trainer could literally take sandpaper to his Golum and it would probably feel like the equivalent of a brush to fur. Just Saiyan! ;D
I would also wonder, if they're quad weak to water would they also be quad weak to turpentine? I wouldnt think so.
You called?
(Reffering to the just saiyan)
I figure they would be fine if you used a garden hose and a scrub brush since those aren't attacks and have no power or damage, it's not like a rock breaks just because you poured a glass of water on it.
They're not Splatoon characters, so merely touching significant amounts of water isn't enough to harm them; it has to manifest as an actual attack.

Hoenn the prehistoric battle between Groudon/Kyogre and Rayquaza stopping the fighting (in Emerald's case twice, in ORAS case with mega and primals)
Sinnoh/Hisui the creation of the pokemon universe and Giratina's rebellion leading to its banishment to the distortion world (which is its own parallel universe)
Unova the twin hero princes, that befriended the One Dragon, argued all the time, so the One Dragon split its soul in 1/2 leading to Reshiram and Zekrom being born.
Alola the war between the ultra beasts and Tapus of ancient times, along with the Cosmog line
There's at least 5 timelines for the games.
Mudkip is definitely not a doughnut, if anything he's a chocolate eclair.
That The Deep was missing a Vaporeon.
2:30 I just noticed in this angle he looks like a smiley face.
It took me a while to see the Kyogre in the pic because of that.
@@MunchKINGI was worried that I was the only one who noticed the Kyogre second!
11:42 omg I need a Minix right now, that is so adorable.
3:16 FUDGE! That's why the Deep seemed so familiar. I thought i just saw the actor somewhere else.
11:20 it’s some straight up bullshit is what it is for what possible reason would they spread out all these seasons instead of centralizing it on a single app like they could’ve with Pokémon TV?
Potato is gonna be so jelly over all that attention going to Mudkip xD
Here 1% out of 100% of the lore
The plots of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, FireRed, and LeafGreen and Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire are contemporaneous.
They are then followed by the plots of Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver and Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl three years later, which are also contemporaneous with each other, although dialogue from Jasmine and Cynthia provides conflicting evidence on which games occur first.[note 2][note
Pokémon Black and White are set some time after this, as evidenced by Caitlin having visibly aged, as well as Cynthia and the Team Rocket Grunt who stole the Machine Partreferencing previous events.
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 are set two years after Black and White, and are contemporaneous with Pokémon X and Y.
Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon take place two years after the events of Black 2 and White 2, as revealed by concept art of Grimsley.[2]
Pokémon Sword and Shield's placement is more vague, with little direct connection to previous games, though the Pokédex entry for Type: Null in Sword mentions that stolen research notes led to the creation of more Type: Null,[note 4] which could imply that they take place after the events of Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, as only three Type: Null exist in those games.
Porygon's creation
Porygon's Pokédex entries in Pokémon Sun, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon state that it was created 20 years ago.[note 5] Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia states that Porygon was created in 1995, as well as stating that 150 species of Pokémon have been discovered as of 1996, alluding to the player having completed their Pokédex in Pokémon Red and Green,[note 6] thus implying that Pokémon Red and Green take place in either 1995 or 1996. However, the length of this time gap has never been explicitly confirmed in any official material, with Toshinobu Matsumiya having described it as "secret" on Twitter.[3]
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
Although Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, they contain some references to features from the original games as having been present about a decade ago,[note 7] while others have not yet come about, such as the Battle Frontier, which is under construction. Despite this, the remakes are implied to happen at the same point in the timeline as the original games, as the Royal Unova and a device to visually reproduce the dreams of Pokémon having not yet been created reveals them to take place before Pokémon Black and White[note 8][note 9] and Mr. Bonding gaining O-Powers reveals them to take place before Pokémon X and Y.[note 10]
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!
References to real-life years and release dates
The specific years of events are not mentioned in the games themselves, but Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia implies that Pokémon Red and Green take place in 1995 or 1996, the latter being the year in which they were released; this year is also referenced in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon on Red's shirt, which features a symbol resembling the number "96".
Prehistory
During the last Ice Age, the Mamoswine population flourished, then decreased when the Ice Age ended.

3,000 years before Generation V:
AZ and the ultimate weapon
The Kalos war occurred, which caused the death of an Eternal Flower Floette that belonged to the Kalos's king, AZ.
3,000 years before Generation VIII:
A black storm called the Darkest Day is created by Eternamax Eternatus, causing countless Pokémon to Dynamax and Gigantamax around the Galar region, but it was stopped by Zacian, Zamazenta, and two human youths. While the two Pokémon are forgotten by history, the two youths are crowned as the region's new kings.
Melmetal is worshipped by ancient humans for its ability to create metal from nothing.

2,000 years before Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire:
Hoenn is plagued by meteor showers.
2,000 years before Generation IX:
From there, they capture Mewtwo and meet Green, a Trainer who had hoped to capture Mewtwo for herself. They also confront Archer, an admin of the remnants of Team Rocket, who challenges them to one last battle before swearing that he will avenge his boss, Giovanni. But that's barely any of the lore
