The name (Star to a Young Culture is so accurate for their sound and branding), the show getting to know the members in their trainee days, probably one of the best debuts, ALL of the discography is a no-skips for me, promotions are wonderful, established a good sound for themselves, consistent comebacks, live singing!! They do it all! I swear they're gonna be really big
Bts released fake love and then said what if we never made a good or interesting title track again. I’d also add Everglow. Their discography was just okay and then La Di Da was like a top 3 song of 2020. Then First was awful noise music and Pirate was boring.
Their concept is very "loud." La Di Da was softer and got them a lot of fans which left after the next two comebacks. I don't like any of their b sides because they're so loud. First was pretty good though!

i know no one is gonna read my thoughts about bts' fallout but i've literally no one to talk about it so i completely agree with your opinion and hell i was even cancelled recently for telling that ptd is the worst song ever. no one hates this song as much as i do and i have nothing against their goal to get that grammy 'cause i understand that they can't get it without a strong english song (and yeah even though i'm not very fond of dynamite i still think it deserved the award the most among other nominees). nevertheless after seeing festa 2022 and hearing their thoughts about going on a break everything suddenly fell into place? they fell out for one reason only: they didn't want to release these mediacore songs in a first place. their anthology album was supposed to come out in 2020 after mots7 and black swan's whole message is literally about losing your passion for what you do. and it clearly shows in their english songs which weren't even written by them even though they always write their own music it really upsets me that their whole discography gets dragged down (not in your video btw) just because of three english songs that wouldn't be even released if covid didn't happen. i was really pissed off by their latest album announcement 'cause its release should've happened back in 2020 but not in 2022 after one and a half year without an album and 2 horrible english songs in between. they gave us only three new songs after so much wait but i was genuinely surprised when i heard the old bts in them. perhaps they were written back in the days when they still had passion for a group music, perhaps not - we'll never know, but an 2015 army in me was thrilled to be brought back to the group i originally started to stan and it somehow gave me hope that after going solo they would shine more (hoseok's solo album slaps btw)

It’s fine ofc for fans to like it, but you can tell they’re tired as hell. I stopped enjoying their music awhile ago, other than a few bsides, but it shows what a lot of fans want when everyone’s favorite out of all their recent music is Run BTS! I don’t mind TXT’s pop-punk phase but I wish the mixing suited the genre better?? If their producers just committed to the messiness that pop-punk is instead of trying to tone down the backing instruments and mushing all the sounds together to make it more pop friendly I think I’d enjoy it a lot more. Run Away is so magical tho I’m waiting for them to surpass that title track

Unpopular opinion: I always felt that most of the Blackpink music is a bit disjointed like they have no reasonable connection between the rap and singing parts. Lovesick girls are one of the first songs I liked as it felt coherent and it felt different from their usual stuff. Don't get me wrong, having basically 2 different songs in one song can actually work- SM has pretty much perfected it (although there are a few misses here and there).

There's no way a group can get famous ONLY with their talents, there's no such thing in kpop....... As someone who has enjoyed every ITZY TT and most songs of theirs until checkmate, I HARD disagree. Sneakers really sounded like kids bop music it made me want to cry 😪 and then free fall sounded goofy as hell too. There are a couple ok songs, but the whole thing was disappointing. Not even a single song from that album to get into my top 25 songs of theirs. Sad days for Itzy fans like me 😭
