      @@oddmedia5035 i second his comment. Great simple way you showed it. Thanks for that. If you see this I have a question. I dont understand how I would be able for example to add a 4th clip which is not in the original dynamic link but in the premiere pro timeline and still add such a smooth transition between the 3rd clip (from the dynamic link) and the 4th added clip which would be in a different dynamic link. Would be happy to know this. Thanks and keep up the good work

      @@peterchorbadzhiev8438 Thanks Peter 🙏🏻. To add another clip to an already existing dynamic link - copy the clip from premiere and paste it in the After Effects dynamic linked comp that you already have. Then, adjust the length of the composition in After Effects (right click, composition settings) to allow for the extra time.
      You can then extend the length of the dynamic linked comp in premiere.
      Please let me know if this doesn’t make any sense 😂

      Hey man, I have been trying to use the speed ramps much often but unfortunately I see that from time to time when using F9 for the keyframes in AE I seem to be getting missing frames and the video isnt smooth after the speed ramp. Also I am finding it hard to figure out the workflow around normal speed and speed ramps and slow mo when using the time remap option. For example I want to have a speed ramp in the beginning, then have it end in a slow mo and then continue with the normal playback speed of the clip. How would I do that if there is no percentage shown like in Premiere when speed ramping...? Would appreciate your help.

    THIS IS AMAZING, only question is, I do a lot of sports but Im looking to go into the industry, as a hobbiest I only used VEGAS, which imo is just as good as AE - bare motion blur - for this effect. Industry doesn't use that software, how would I have the cut in beat to music if I cant actually edit to sound that well in AE,
    Basically whats the easiest way of syncing a clip to audio from AE to PP without shrinking the clip so that the clips in sync before the speedramp are still in sync in PP timeline

    Does this also change the sound? That is the trouble I have in premiere. It also could be I am new at this and trying to learn new things. Thanks for the informative video!

    • @oddmedia5035
      @oddmedia5035  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yep, this will remove the sound from the clips that you’re speed ramping. To keep the sound, unlink the audio from the video clips in premiere before “editing in after effects”. This will leave the audio as is in premiere and will take the video clips into AE

    for some reason my graph doesn't show like yours. It just shows as increments, like a stair case almost, unlike your nicely shaped flat, square, flat, graph. could it be because my footage is 24 fps? anything insights help this is my first time messing with after effects.... I have this weird issue, where if I want to cut a clip that I plan to add speed ramp to, there'll still be basically a translucent "ghost" of the bit I cut off, still on the timeline. When I then go to enable time ramp, it puts a key frame where my cut clip first began, even though nothing is there.
    It's like that ghost bar makes it like I never cut the clip. Any help??

    • @oddmedia5035
