Really great advice. I have been picking up brilliant stars super cheap for a while now, it really should have been a popular set but like all sword & shield sets that came out after evolving skies it was largely ignored because everyone had tunnel focus and yeah it turns out they were definitely right to focus on evolving skies lol but now that it's not an affordable option for most people everyone is finally realising how good the other sets really are and the potential value in those sets, brilliant stars is the best in my opinion.
Yeah I agree that it might be too late but I really wanted the sylveon vmax for my personal collection but can’t bring my self to pay that much when it was almost 100$ CAD cheaper a couple months ago
Stay calm is the best investment advice. If you are priced out of Sword & Shield boxes you can grab Silver Tempest still for MSRP. If that is still too much Paldea Evolved is a good play. Obsidian Flames will do well and Paradox Rift is a sleeper set. Base sets usually do well and Scarlet & Violet base is kinda underrrated. A lot of good plays out there.
Currently working on SV era master sets. I'm just getting back into collecting again and I've been having a blast with it. I figured i'd have a more enjoyable time sticking with more recent set vs the hassle of marketplace haggling on anything prior at the moment. Almost done with TEF and PAL the grind is real but exciting :D
Hello, i'm from Belgium and love to watch your TH-cam video's, so thanks for that. I wonder if you could make a video about better investing in raw cards or (PSA) graded cards. Japanse or English. Thanks
You're half right. But truthfully my opinion is that thie umbreon will gain value of such cards as first edition base set charizard in fact id love to see a timeliness of how long it took that zard to he 50 k plus. I'm willing to bet if you gav4 the umbreon the same time for growth it will out perform vintage cards😊
You think that? 900ish mint copies available worldwide ( Psa,Bgs,Cgc 9, 9.5 &10) of the most sought after pokemon card in history not counting the 100s cracked out and resubmitted making the 1st edition charizard population more inflated than it actually is. Vs the 13,000 pop psa 10 umbreon vmax that is still being pulled in high volumes daily. Not counting all the sealed product still out there waiting to be opened and flood the gem pop even more.
10,000 pop reports compared to how many Pokemon card collectors doesn’t really matter tbh and just because it’s a 10,000 pop report doesn’t mean someone doesn’t want that card maybe there saving up there money to make there purchase
And you're completely wrong about emotion.Emotion is what drives the price.Emotion is what people Are counting on to drive these carts forward and not only that, but psychology is more important than any other investment skill. Psychology everyone sleeps on regarding investing in the market.Psychology is absolutely huge.Look at what happened to gamestop. That could easily happen here as well
My friend unusually. I'm always on your side when it comes to your opinions. And what not but I completely disagree with you. This is the time to buy. This is the time to get scared because before you know that these cards will become 7 and 810000 dollar cards. You need to strike now or you will miss your shot if we're going to compare old school cards like base at charzard and only I believe took 10 years for that thing to become $50000 in APSA 10. Umbrella is outperforming the c*** out of what Charles art was doing. Give it 5 more years and the card will probably go to new heights that we never thought possible, not only that. All the other sets yes, of course. Will go up at along with their boss.Caren't.But umbrian has a lead unlike anything else
But I don’t understand why people don’t go the cheaper version literally they can pick up Korean eevee heroes and pull the same cards for cheaper. It blows my mind. Overall I just been buying singles at this point lol.
Is it really that hard to understand??? Some people don’t care about language but most people, including sometimes me, want a card they can read. Do I have Japanese cards?! Yeah. Do I like the fact they are cheaper? Yeah. But English costs more for a reason. I might end up picking up a Korean or Chinese umbreon but I’d prefer it in English :/ I’d say a majority of people just don’t care for other languages , and that’s fine, but it’s not hard to understand why ;)
I picked up the latios latias team up card in korean absolutely beautiful card for like 1/3 of the price of the original. But unfortunately the korean prices are nearing regular ones
@@sherbear9452 Yeah, I think Korean Moonbreon was like 200$-300$ max a few months ago. Now people are selling the Korean ones for nearly the same price as the English was. Same with Giratina and other alt arts.
To me, collecting is a combination of personal desirability and price. I like to buy 10 slabs that I like and that will have future value. The Korean umbreon will forever be undesirable. An English or Japanese copy will increase in price or hold its value better.
Exactly. Dont buy during hype same with waifu price will eventually drop. For me now is the best time to sell not buy and I just sold my eevee heroes set

Appreciate the video 👍 so glad I pulled the Umbreon from one heavy hitters box

I got the Ray V alt art PSA 9 recently for 120 $ and think it was a good price.

Swsh is the golden age of pokemon imho .sv is driving up the alt arts prices .people want gen 1-4 pokemon alts
You are great. I think you should tell the prices in something else than canadian dollars since nobody knows how much they are worth. USD or Euros

WHAT IS MSRP????????????????????????????????????
Manufacture suggested retail price. Basically what Pokémon center or Walmart would sell for
Problem is ETB don't hold great value.
Buy eskies like this dude buys fake plants

Yeah... it's time to let Evolving Skies go and, perhaps, start looking at the SV Era!?! That's what I am doing.
