Switzerland : A Dream Destination

We finally reached our ultimate destination of the year, SWITZERLAND. Specifically the Appenzell region where we hiked Saxer Lucke and Seealpsee!
Now we know we aren't the best hikers, but we thought it would be fun to document what a normal hike looks like for us, the ups and the downs.
Switzerland is one of the most beautiful countries on earth, and it felt surreal to be doing our first hikes in such a unique and gorgeous country. Is Switzerland on your bucket list? If so, make sure you check out these hikes:
Hikes in Detail-
SAXER LUCKE-
Drive to the Staubern Cable car and take the steep climb up to the start of the Saxer Lucke hike. Hike 1-1/2 hours to the viewpoint for Saxer Lucke. We did a point to point hike.
SEEALPSEE/ALTENALP-
Start at the Ebenalp Cable car and make your way up. Hike 20 minutes to Aescher Hut, have a quick breakfast and make the 2 hour hike to Altenalp.
Stop for water and then descend 2 hours to Seealpsee. Either swim in Seealpsee or have lunch, and walk 50 minutes back to the parking lot.
