There is a similar situation where one of the members of Gorgoroth turned around and became the head of Wardruna whose style is also more relaxed and slow paced but still sounds awesome.
How on earth is that fucking surprising? metal artists are THE most talented musicians out there, in all aspects, they just choose metal. if you wanna make money, you have to turn to the mainstream, I believe this is his exact idea, not that he doesnt like to make this music, but it is indeed more profitable because it hits a larger audience.

@@marcinkasprzak7064 If a solo artist hustles well enough, there is alot of $$ to be made, Behemoth is probably a company in and of itself, where there's paychecks to pay to alot of people, not just the band... it's another kind of stress on top of it all, just my 5 cents

@@Davidnmk No, John Porter is not on the second album. He left the band quite some time ago and Nergal has never really wanted to say why. He mocks John in the "Run with the Devil" video though.

Wychowałem sie na punku. Zawsze szanowałem Nergala, mam w dup.e, co o nim wypisuja chu.owe media. Wrażliwy, inteligentny człowiek. Behemotha raczej nie słuchałem. Z polskiego "metalu" to może Acid Drinkers, Vader i tyle. Ta płyta jest piękna. Korzenie grania i śpiewania. Johnny Cash, potem Danzig. Jakoś tak mi się wpisuje w taką tradycję. Może się mylę.

Almost perfect. Still in the chorus it is differnt a bit. It's "Lewą dłoń układam w broń", so more like "With my left palm I form the gun". It was to be symbolic, you know, "the left-hand path", the baphomet aiming the ground with his left hand.

@@SoundChaser_ Co prawda napisałem ten tekst i chodziło mi o ścieżkę lewej dłoni, gdzie ręka jest ułożona jak pistolet, ale możesz mieć rację. A... i śpiewałem w chórkach, ale czytałem Strugackich, Dicka, Lema, Snerga i wiem, że we śnie, albo w toku codziennych czynności mogłem przenieść się do alternatywnej rzeczywistości.
Przeczytasz w książeczce i się przekonamy obaj

It's because he struggles with accent when he sings in english. He has no such problems with singing in polish. There also was 1 track on the previous MATM album where he sings in polish ("Cyrulik Jack") so you might want to give it a listen if you haven't already :)
The track is really well recorded and he sounds better than the last album. I know he has accent and he has talked about it being a issue in an interview but I don’t think it was regarding singing, I think he was speaking in the sense of being commercially appealing, I believe that is why he has other singers to sing on the album. He said that he was not really planning to sing and then John Porter encouraged him to. One thing I noticed in live performances of Me and that Man he looks quite shy singing the songs. He is definitely more confident with Behemoth. I dig his voice. He has a strong deep voice and his accent is sexy. He has a really small range in which he can sing but it is definitely pleasant to me. He is not the greatest singer but definitely an unique voice. i think the interview was with rockhok!
This kind of music just sounds better if it's sung in the singer's native language. In English he sounds a bit like he's trying to be something he's not.

No muszę przyznać, że jestem pozytywnie zaskoczona. Utwór po polsku (tak, wiem był Cyrulik Jack), jest dosadny przekaz o bardzo ważnej sprawie, jaką jest pedofilia w kościele, która jest nadal tuszowana, np. w Polsce, gdzie przenosi się księży z parafii do parafii i nadal pracują z dziećmi. To z jednej strony dobijające, że tak się dzieje, a z drugiej dobre, że przypadki pedofilii są ujawniane i wzrasta świadomość społeczeństwa na ten temat. Tak trzymać.
