Best random click I have made on TH-cam in MONTHS. This is really great. If someone told me a bunch of death metal artists did an album of Nick Cave-flavored country blues tunes, there's no way I would have imagined anything remotely this good. Seriously awesome.
1st album Songs of Love and Death is a league above this! Get it!
The musicianship and skills of death metal artists are seriously underestimated.
Oh, there's so many gems in the underground...lots of black and death metal musicians have side projects that explore different sounds like ambient, folk, country, etc.., A great example is King Dude with his incredibly beautiful style of acoustic dark folk, outlaw country, blues and even gospel.

New album arrived this morning with a shirt. Awesome album and have been playing it nonstop. You guys created something incredible with "New Man, New Songs, Same Shit, Vol.1" Cannot wait for Vol.2 in the future. Keep it blues and metal, rock on.
I listened in streaming the new album of Me and That Man vol.1, a great country blues job with great pieces and a great production ... I wait for the physical cd and the vinyl to arrive, being in the quarantine area I don't know when I can make them play. Do nothing ... I'm here.

If you want to check out some old stuff, I suggest Howlin Wolf. If there is a grittier classic blues musician, I've never heard of em.

My favorite song from this session isn't even on this LP. "Mother Bury Your Sons" with Alan Averill (Primordial), in my opinion, is the best song. Apparently, it was only released as a 7" in the box set for this album.
