As Vinnie Paul said, "a (Pantera) reunion is out of the question. Why don't you try and get shot 4 times in the head and then watch your band mates start something without you" Or something like that. I, like many people, think the reunion should be called a tribute, and I think Zakk said something like that

When they first started talking about this and subsequently a Van Halen reunion show, I said the same thing. It should be a tribute show kinda like how they did the Jimi Hendrix experience tour a few years ago.
Fill-in Rex contour with musicians of their choosing like Charlie and Zach and a few others and then in each town they go to call up a local band or other smaller bands to play Pantera songs or songs that helped influence them in their musical journey or helped start them going in music Phil and Rex can sit in on a few songs here and there and and at the end they can do cemetery gates with all the musicians, or do hollow with all the musicians at the end, and then have video packages in the middle, and all the money can go to some kind of charity at the end, and call the tribute to Pantera the band we see now is Pantera reallyisn’t Pantera but I’m glad they’re on the road. I’m glad Phil is doing better. I’m glad Rex is better. I’m glad they’re both still alive because there’s kids nowadays that listen to Pantera that never had a chance to see them in their entirety.

Dime's Death is all on the shooter. It's the same thing with blaming Guns for the death of people rather than the person behind the gun. People these days are always trying to justify people that do horrible things rather than just saying that person did a horrible thing.

I would’ve booked this a little bit different with a Pantera tribute. While on tour and in different cities they go to call up a local band or other smaller bands to play Pantera songs or songs that helped influence them in their musical journey or helped start them going in music Phil and Rex can sit in on a few songs here and there and and at the end they can do cemetery gates with all the musicians, or do hollow with all the musicians at the end, and then have video packages in the middle, and all the money can go to some kind of charity at the end, and call the tribute to Pantera the band we see now is Pantera reallyisn’t Pantera but I’m glad they’re on the road. You know that dimebags (ex)wife gave full permission for this reunion ONLY cuz the fact that zakk wylde was going to be playing since him and dimebag were really close friends. So argue about it or not, the right measures were taken in order for this to have even been possible, saw both shows in Toronto and it was my daughter's first concert experiences, and yes it was awesome.

I just wanted to hear these songs live again played by quality musicians. I don’t care what they call it. Music is a feeling. I know it’s not the real thing but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy some nostalgia.
I better go to sleep. It’s late and I have to go to work tomorrow. Nothing wrong with making some money or grabbing cash. It’s the American way.

The fact that Dime was killed as a result of the animosity between them that led to the break up of Pantera is the reason I think they should just let Pantera rest and be what it was. However, if they donated the proceeds from the tours and merch to help against mental illness that may be different. But we all know they are pocketing every “dime”.

I get where Vinnie was coming from. However, my 15 year old son (I’m 47) is now a huge Pantera fan, because we went and saw them live. There were a lot of kids his age at that show, so while Vinnie may likely have an issue with the current tour, the fact is that he and his brother’s music is being brought to a whole new generation, and is current in a way it hasn’t been for almost two decades. Their legacy will live.

The legacy is dime and vince, In my opinion, it should not be called Pantera. It should be Pantera, tribute or something. It's not pantera those two guys are irreplaceable and that is no disrespect to charlie and Zach. But if you have never seen the interview That Vince did talking about a Pantera.Reunion you need to watch that it is on youtube. I appreciate that they're trying to keep the music alive. But they're using that name.I believe was Unappropriate. I knew those guys I still live right around the corner from dime's house, And if you knew what those 2 guys went through over this, the Pantera break up and everything that happened You might not be supporting this tour as much as you would be. No I do not believe Phil had anything to do with.
Dime getting killed in ohio, But the whole thing about him saying that dime deserved a severe Beating he can say it's tongue and cheek. All he wants to and that's bullshit.
