I've watched your show on Arizona PBS for several years now. Its nice to see you feature my home town. Although I was born in San Francisco, California and lived, as a toddler, in Montreal, I still call Phoenix, and more specifically Ahwatukee, my (and our) home. My wife is from South America.
@@RealSamanthaBrown wow thanks. I didn't think you'd actually respond back. I gather this is a new episode. Merry Christmas, since today is Christmas Day.
I came from the city of Chicago 28 years ago. Never looked back. The feeling of being home hit me the first time I flew into Phoenix in 1988 and it never left me. This entire state is incredible. And yeah it feels like hell for 2-3 months a year....Stay in A/C or drive 2 hours north😊 You never have to dig your car out to go anywhere.
Love Arizona! Lived in Mesa and Apache Junction from 2014 to 2021. Don’t like the heat of the summer. We mostly stayed inside. Going back in March for three weeks. Cant wait! Great video!
I grew up in the Mojave Desert and always considered the Phoenix area like a 2nd or 3rd home. There is so much beauty to the desert if you know where and how to look for it.
I LOVE Phoenix. That little burrito place w the liscense plates all over the walls great local hang. Great food, great place for older people as myself! Funny story when I was about 40 , doing yoga for almost 25 years at the time- went to an older woman’s yoga studio ( think 70s ,80s) they had a apparently, DAILY plank challenge. Something like a three or four or five min plank hold. These women buried me .😂

@@Corielle6115 merry Christmas too! It’s actually from 4 years ago but new to TH-cam
I'm 47 and I've always watched Samantha. She's quite the catch!! I've learned a lot from watching her.
@jeffharris7777 i'm 30 years old, but I used to watch her shows on the Travel Channel back when I was at junior high.
I always learn something when I watch your videos, Samantha; thank you!
@@jeffking9202 thank you for that lovely comment!

It is great but can get pretty hot.
AZ good place to visit, not to live. Just left there after 6 years. State has many problems.
