I am happy that you were promoting Tanzania especially with the fact that Tanzania has so many natural resources. However the sad part is that these natural resources especially minerals have only benefitted few. Many Tanzanians are still poor and most of the wealth is concentrated with few. But, I really enjoyed your road trip and your narration especially that short laugh. Asante sana kwa kutusimulia safari zako.

@saidnavy739 Ok, here's some background history. The province of Free State is actually Lesotho. The provinces were actually nations in their own right before the Europeans set foot here, though there were never any borders that separated the tribes. A period of turmoil of what is now known as Lifaqane/Mfecane ensued between the local tribes and Europeans to drive them out of their lands. There were victories in some and losses in others. The Europeans themselves at some point fought amongst each other to have their own lands (Boers and British). They, the settlers, negotiated a settlement and shared our lands for themselves. The Boers negotiated with the British to have the land inhabited by Basotho. Basotho continued to fight and ended up with the portion of what is now Lesotho. Seeing that Basotho will never give up the fight until total victory, the British deceived Basotho that they'll protect them on their portion if they let the Boers have the rest of their land. Due to a dispute of that land, it was decided that it'll be named the "Free State". The Boers, however, insisted that it be named the Orange Free State (Oranje Vrijstaat) so that it represent them. After the fall of apartheid in 1994, the "Orange/Oranje" part was removed.
