rule of thumb for bears. If it’s brown lie down (play dead) if it’s black fight back (nose is especially sensitive area) if it’s white say good nigh (if a polar bear sees you, you don’t have a chance. do not run that is what tells a bear you are prey. as you walk through the forest, make noise. bears usually don’t actively hunt humans

A black mamba can move at 15mph and their bite is always fatal unless treated quickly, I mean like within an hour or less. They will go out of their way to bite and have been known to leap from trees on people if disturbed. Their brothers the green mamba have been known to do the same though I’m not so sure they just slip and happen to fall on you. Either way I wouldn’t want to test it.

I just watched a video of a black mamba that killed a lion and even after the lion died the mamba crawled up to it and bit four more times. Think about that. The lion took at least an hour to die and that means the mamba just watched and literally waited till it was dead to approach and bite it over and over. If that’s not the most frightening snake in world for aggression I don’t know what is.

Here is an easy way to tell if a scorpion is highly venomous or not: their front pinchers. If they are heavy like lobster claws, the scorpion uses them to crush its prey and relies less on its venom. If they are slender, like on the death stalker, the scorpion relies on its venom to subdue its prey. This doesn’t mean you should try picking up less venomous scorpions with your bare hands. The sting will still hurt.

Who brings a bunch of books camping? Sounds like they would have had to have quite a few? And grizzlies don't normally hunt humans, especially when they have a already easy meal with elk carcass. We both had tics crawling on us, my sister had a few on her and one happened to be behind one of her ears about to take a bite of her but was later removed and burned. However, as I was wearing light and dark blue striped pajama pants there was a whopping 27 tics crawling on me to which I was nicknamed the “Tic Queen”. I still wonder if tics are drawn to the color blue to this day.

I was fortunate enough to have a very interesting encounter with a giant water bug. Not sure why, but I found one in an empty lasagna pan while I was camping. He was really cool, and I just observed him before releasing him in the brush near a swamp. I always wanted to see one in person, and thankfully, one came to see me in a friendly way. Not aggressive due to the cold spring evening, but man, those critters look so amazing, really neat. And yes, they can fly, but don't normally do so unless their pond or swamp starts to dry up. Great video as always!

A few months ago, I went to Biscayne Bay, in a hotel with a perfect view, seeing the bay, and the Atlantic Ocean. A few days later, I saw bumps in the water, I also saw one jump, they got.. closer over time. So, when I left, I was glad. Well- not really, I went to the everglades, and saw peacocks, gators, and a few egrets. I also went to a soccer game! Baseball, too. Im not a baseball game, lol. So it was the best!
    14:06
Camel spiders aren't harmless to humans, well.. not always. When threatened, they don't always fight back. Camel spiders are chill. Extremely chill. They only fight back when they are *SERIOUSLY* threatened.
I know you explained this later in the video, but I just wanted to clarify.

Centipedes are on our side: "These seemingly unwanted bugs are actually extremely helpful in destroying pests such as moths, flies, roaches, silverfish, and termites.
