- This battle is HARD, he can easily one-hit you, anyway you can upgrade your defensive gear before the battle. In this version my weapons are really weak anyway, and the damage from the heat actions sucks a lot.

Glasses existed during that period, maybe Amon went to China to get a pair. After all, Japan pretty much idolized China for a long time during the Tang Dynasty. In fact if you go take a look at Tang Dynasty calligraphy and the modern Japanese kanji, the words are very much similar.

Nope, isn't true. Watch my video, i was able to master it body to body in the last phase and the strategy requires extremely precision, without talismans spamming.

It's called "Wild Dance of the Divine Dragon" or something like that. Basically, Ryoma spins around, wildly shooting everywhere and slashing the opponent. You need to be in heat mode to use this ability

Plus with the dimming of the edges, it looks like rhe same thing with Kiwami's ability to take all of the heat to boost damage, speed, or whatever Brawler gave
@@CrystallizedBlackSkull It's a very useful move against groups of enemies or boss + mobs. unfortunately against amon you should have a little bit of luck. if you notice, I tried to "move" him in the right corner, in my previous attempts, amon was able to block this move a lot of times or the damage was not consistent or other things ( probably because i should have used my skill points, i guess).

Also I noticed that you didin't gain heat. Theres abunch of characters in the heat orb. I guess they're the characters of numbers? Pretty unique looking heat bar.
And yeah I could'nt imagine spending all that heat you got just for it to be blocked tho. GG men
@@CrystallizedBlackSkull yeah they are numbers, you can fill the heat gauge a few times up to 10 and each heat action costs either 1 or 2 heat gauge. This move starts from the number you used the move until either the fight ends or the number goes down to 0.

@@mediawatcher9225 In this game, Heat actions work like they do in the previous games (Press the triangle button when prompted)
However, unlike previous games, the heat gauge now "stacks"; you can now build up your heat gauge multiple times over, I used this method in my favor at the end of the battle.
DanteDevil12 oh so when you did the heat actions they stacked when you pressed the button prompts, so that’s why that last attack lasted so long, pretty bad damage though.

SUSHI Finisher! lol. You're right about the heat actions, but I like to use them. The damage with my weapons ( sword and pistol) sucks a lot, only tiger drop is good with my shitty stats.

Yes, but you have to do a lot of grind, it's insane. then you have to find so many materials, farming in the dungeon for some items, it's REALLY BORING.

They used Arquebus during the Sengoku period and actually had pretty good firearms for a while, then Matthew Perry came and revolvers/European rifles started coming into full circulation instead of just either Portuguese/Dutch imports or just Japanese improvements of the arquebus
This game looks awesome, i hope they localize it someday
Its' one of the best in the series, trust me. The only annoying part is the grind.

Hello, I have a question, how can I increase the invincibility time of the brawler style? It only lasts about 4 seconds and in most of the videos I've seen it lasts about 10.

The upgrades system works the same way as the remake, you should upgrade brawler style almost twice ( after lv.99 and limit breaker)
there is some upgrades that allows you to increase both the damage of the tiger drop, heat actions and the invincibility time during the parry.

I gotta ask, how on earth are you dealing that much damage with your attack during the Wild Dance R2? I've got the style maxed out and the strongest sword/gun and I don't deal even a third of that damage to him even if I disarm him several times in the fight

I never played the original yet, however I do own it and would try this version out. Correct me if I am wrong or missing any details, does it seem like that the Kiwami Version Ishin is nerfed a lot just to make those gimmicky Trooper Cards relevant? Because what I notice here is, when you parry and get your aura to become invicible, it lasts so much longer than in Kiwami. That Beyblade move at the end also does so much more damage, considering other attacks weren't doing as much. I also considered from the description that the weapons are quite weak.
Yea, I tried the exact same thing with that spin and it was pretty useless against him. Seeing this just now was kinda shocking.
Im trying to do the wild dance thing at the end but it does very little damage do I have to be max level for it to work?

That super ultimate that you used to finish him off is monstrous, hope that the new remake will allow that to return

Yes, I will, thanks for reminding me.
I used this approach, because I didn't have any efficient weapons with really good modifications and upgrades against him, I barely inflicted any decent damage with my best sword and my armor is very bad.
I did platinum and 100%, and i got all the weapons,armor etc, but isn't enough against him on hard or ex hard. For example my golden gun (which I built through a guide/explained in english) is pretty good, But building any strong sword with specific modifications or damage upgrades is complicated, because you must have very advanced knowledge of Japanese or some very good guides.
in the final stage I only know 2 methods to beat him without damage.
1) This strategy 2) The infinite combos from behind before he changed in the phase 2, i've seen this strategy from nakasonehanzubon.
the second phase is fun for a no healing run for me, surely someone will come up with a strategy to beat it without these two methods, but it takes hours and for me isn't worth.

Heat actions are useless in this game.
They only become useless if you use the same ones over and over, because enemies gain a resistance to them the more you use the same heat action

In most videos of ishin heat actions in general seem to do very little damage, especially in endgame while weapon upgrades allowed lets players to keep up in damage. Were they really nerfed or something?
it's just that bosses in Ishin are resistant to Heat Actions
Usually, Only the first heat action does a good amount of damage.
it's like the heat action penalty in 0/Kiwami (i dunno if it's noticeable in the Dragon Engine games) where performing the same heat action again halves the damage.

Correct. During my story mode boss battles or coliseum with the weakest sword and pistol ( except amon'sword first form with damage max 5/500) the heat actions are almost useless, but in my opinion some of them are unique and spectacular, I really like using them.
