    So we will never take samples based on the sum of r.v samples , rather we take mean of r.v samples for lesser variance??

    Ma'am in calculating variance in average of samples...1/n2 has comeout. I can't understand about that n2. U have said this follows a formula. Please suggest that vedio described that formula...

    Ma'am, I know it is a silly doubt, but at 8:59, how does 1/n^2 gets pulled out of the formula??

      I discussed the properties of variance. When I discussed var(ax + b ) = a^2 Var (x ).
      Now here if we take X1+ X2 + X3 +... = X then 1/n represent a and b is 0.
      So according to the property it will be equal to (1/n)^2 var (x)
      If you still have doubt I will reply on mail..

    I mean no offence.. but don't teach them wrong, shouldn't set wrong definition.. got this video in recommendations.. at 1:41 , it shouldn't be distribution over samples, it should be distribution over mean of different set, each set having some samples, say N, from true distribution.
