Like I know it's sort of a meme now like "when will PP come back", but with the music and the visuals, it was almost like remembering an old friend. I really do miss him and hope he comes back, he was such a positive force in the community and this video really was a fantastic representation of the sentiment of the majority of the community and was overall extremely well done 🙌🙌🙌
I put "spoiled" in quotation marks for a reason. I just found it an interesting concept to know how it ended, before it ended, as a means to keep me engaged while watching it, and found it quite effective, I didn't mean it in the traditional sense.
Even if/when ppmd comes back, we can assume he went be nearly the ranking he used to be. You can be sure tho, no matter how good he is he'll always have the crowd on his back
i mean we saw how good he was at that doubles tournament when he beat crunch/hbox. im pretty sure if he does come back (which i desperately hope he does but take your time pp) that he will be top 50 immediately and top 20-top 10 within a year

I feel like many people miss the point of why PP was so Incredible. It wasn't necessarily his combo game, nor the way he ended stocks. It was his beautiful neutral game that is just so unlike anybody else's, and the really unique way that he viewed the game. I would love to see more compilation videos of PP's neutral game and quick second game decisions rather than his combos, it's honestly just much more impressive.

I would say that PPMD's Marth focuses very heavily on neutral - his dashdance and spacing often makes it difficult for his opponents to safely move/approach without whiffing and getting punished. That contrasts with M2K's Marth, which instead excels at the punish game. As soon as M2K gets a grab, he usually knows a way to turn that into a death, and he understands very well how to cover options and make a combo almost inescapable (especially when he turns it into an edgeguard). This isn't to say that PP's Marth doesn't have a punish game (which this combo video shows off) or that M2K doesn't have neutral - but I think those are the two key aspects that they differ in. Note that by virtue of this being a combo video, we don't necessarily get to see PP's neutral at its best (since the focus is on his creative punishes). If you want to see arguably the best of PP's Marth and his neutral game, definitely check out his sets against Armada and Leffen at Apex 2015. That's my take on it, at least! Hopefully that elucidates some of the distinctions between them - if anyone sees anything they would clarify or add, please do comment.
