As a drama viewer I have seen these women grow. I remember Sajal playing insignificant roles in dramas and then being on top position. These women have struggled for years and years to reach where they are now and all they get in return is slut-shaming. All these women are being praised globally but Pakistan has not moved from the perception of 'actresses are high level prostitutes".

The actresses shouldn't be blamed for responding to the allegations.When people called SH biased and paid journalists for your reviews in the past, you were quick to clarify and call all those allegations false and defend yourself.Because it was a direct attack on your integrity, character and your loyalty to your profession as journalists.Likewise, these actresses responded to these false allegations.These allegations are much worse because they are character assassinating these women and ignoring the hard work that they have put in for a decade and even more.They have ALL the right to refute these false allegations and to even slap defamation lawsuits on the opposing party. Regarding Actresses Allegations: The way I got to know about this was through memes really really vulgar memes shared mostly by men, asking for links or slut-shaming all the Actresses mentioned. I have noticed that out of all the female actors in Pakistan, Mahira Khan is visibly the most secure and sophisticated - her public appearances, interviews, social media are testament to the fact. Somehow, she seems head and shoulders above them all. She doesn't hurl insults towards anyone and she doesn't respond to anyone who tries hard to use her name to get their 5 minutes of fame. She probably has a very good team and network, advising her.

Mohib tried to divert the question by making a joke about an invitation card for “opening up a furniture store”, then Ahsan said something like, “oh, I wasn’t supposed to say that on TV…” That aired back in April 2021…so I’d assume they’ve been married for a while. I don’t think Pakistanis give invitation cards so many months in advance the way they do in the US.

I have been following and watching videos of Adil Raja for past a few months. He has been giving inside news of military establishment and the mood of regular army officials. According to him people inside the army gives him info and he shares it with public. So far most of his claims have been true and that is why public reacted so strongly when he gave out the initials. I heard him say in his twitter space that he made a mistake by giving out initials but his intention was to alert those actress and models who were invloved, whoever they were. IMHO it was highly irresponsible of Adil Raja to share those initials and also it was highly idiotic of our three actresses to give out statements, especially Kubra. She took his name, threatened him with law suit and give him a deadline too. Now what is she gonna do, now that three days are over? Why do they think they have to respond to everything? Havent they heard that silence is virtue? I am so glad Mahira has kept her silence and didnt jump in with a paragraph. Other actors should also be mindful of when to stop giving their povs. Some keep giving them, even when the matter has dissolved. Though I am surprised how many celebs who LOVE to give opinions on every matter have been dead silent on this matter.

Also, Aamnah Ahad Raza Mir got A LOT of hate for his kissing scene in Resident Evil, because people associated it with his divorce. I've been watching something haute from past 4 months now and I really enjoy your videos, you address most of the ongoing controversies in Pakistan in the most elaborative way, but didn't address about the ongoing situation of a hindu girl brutally raped and killed in Pakistan (even Ushna Shah addressed that on her twitter handle) which is utterly disappointing and was not expected by you people, as I felt you both were mature and sensible people and are beyond India's and Pakistan's issues and talk sense but now I think it was mere misunderstanding and the gap can never be bridged between the countries. #onthespot
Countries like India and Pakistan girls are being raped n killed almost on daily bases, as much horrible as such incidents are, talking only about one girl because she is from minority will be like politicising the incidents and hence dividing the sympathies. It was a crime against a vulnerable human and t should be handled and treated like this..if something haute is a platform that have been talking about crimes on daily bases then yes we should call them out for not addressing this particular incidents but if they don't then plz understand their genre is entertainment and they usually talk about issues that are directly or indirectly related to it

I have noticed that out of all the female actors in Pakistan, Mahira Khan is visibly the most secure and sophisticated - her public appearances, interviews, social media are testament to the fact. Somehow, she seems head and shoulders above them all. She doesn't hurl insults towards anyone and she doesn't respond to anyone who tries hard to use her name to get their 5 minutes of fame. She probably has a very good team and network, advising her.

That aired back in April 2021…so I’d assume they’ve been married for a while. I don’t think Pakistanis give invitation cards so many months in advance the way they do in the US.

I have been following and watching videos of Adil Raja for past a few months. He has been giving inside news of military establishment and the mood of regular army officials. According to him people inside the army gives him info and he shares it with public. So far most of his claims have been true and that is why public reacted so strongly when he gave out the initials. I heard him say in his twitter space that he made a mistake by giving out initials but his intention was to alert those actress and models who were invloved, whoever they were.
IMHO it was highly irresponsible of Adil Raja to share those initials and also it was highly idiotic of our three actresses to give out statements, especially Kubra. She took his name, threatened him with law suit and give him a deadline too. Now what is she gonna do, now that three days are over? Why do they think they have to respond to everything? Havent they heard that silence is virtue? I am so glad Mahira has kept her silence and didnt jump in with a paragraph. Other actors should also be mindful of when to stop giving their povs. Some keep giving them, even when the matter has dissolved. Though I am surprised how many celebs who LOVE to give opinions on every matter have been dead silent on this matter.
What if someone pointing ( initially and were tagged by many individual) at you and accused you having illegal relationship with some one ,will you keep bearing that ,God Forbade if this happens to me ,I will sue that person whether he just pointed or not. The thought of insecurity and self consciousness that artists have to bare every single day, living under the fear of the fact that anybody can wake up one day and put disgusting allegations is extremely distressing! Not taking sides, but just for adding to the information given, Maj. Adil Raja did apologize in his next video saying that he shouldn't have given the initials either, and that was a mistake on his part n he accepts that, as it took away from the point he was trying to make.

Also, Aamnah Ahad Raza Mir got A LOT of hate for his kissing scene in Resident Evil, because people associated it with his divorce. He faced massive character assassination too, especially from Sajal fans. So mardoon aur aurtoon ko eik jaisa hi hate milta hai. Only person jis ko sab maaf hai, woh Humayun Saeed hai. He can do multiple kissing scenes and easily get away with it and no portal will even bring it up. They just keep sharing how proud they are of his debut in The Crown.
Its not about the gender of the artist but the power they hold in the industry, and Humayun Saeed is the most powerful one in Pakistan industry (unfortunately)
Sajal Aly got similar hate for her scenes with Azaan Sami Khan in Ishq e Laa as that was the same time as their divorce too. What’s similar in the hate both received is it came from fans and side taking between two actors rather than a more general response from netizens.

@@zaralovessanam Ishq e Laa they were holding hands or maybe hugging which is considered a lot by Pakistani standards on tv. She was definitely at the receiving end of hatred for those scenes.
@@aziza000 When Ishq-e-laa came around October 2021, there was no sign of Ahad and Sajal's divorce. People did comment on the closeness of the characters, which was relatively more than Pak TV standards. But she wasnt shamed as much as Ahad was hated and character assassinated for his Resident Evil scene and later mocked when the show was cancelled, as if he was the main lead. He still keeps getting hate for absolutely no reason at all.
@@smssr84 Ahad got hate on twitter (and IG) & mostly from Sajal’s fans. It depends where & what you read. I saw more hate towards Sajal and Sajal being blamed for her bold scenes as the reason for the demise of her marriage, and most of this was on Facebook & TH-cam. But I won’t deny Ahad got a lot of hate too.

It was a thing in the pre 2000 Bollywood based on the sexist notion that a female star would get knocked up n leave the film production in a lurch. I've been watching something haute from past 4 months now and I really enjoy your videos, you address most of the ongoing controversies in Pakistan in the most elaborative way, but didn't address about the ongoing situation of a hindu girl brutally raped and killed in Pakistan (even Ushna Shah addressed that on her twitter handle) which is utterly disappointing and was not expected by you people, as I felt you both were mature and sensible people and are beyond India's and Pakistan's issues and talk sense but now I think it was mere misunderstanding and the gap can never be bridged between the countries.

Countries like India and Pakistan girls are being raped n killed almost on daily bases, as much horrible as such incidents are, talking only about one girl because she is from minority will be like politicising the incidents and hence dividing the sympathies. It was a crime against a vulnerable human and t should be handled and treated like this..if something haute is a platform that have been talking about crimes on daily bases then yes we should call them out for not addressing this particular incidents but if they don't then plz understand their genre is entertainment and they usually talk about issues that are directly or indirectly related to it
