k nav my parrot is just like it's because the owners before did give her enough attention and she would pull her feathers but when I got her she took a liking to me and she is getting better she use to bite and scream all the time but now she doesn't do it as much and doesn't pull her feathers anymore

joanne smith they can be pretty aggressive and territorial for small birds. They’re probably not AS noisy as conures but they are pretty loud

couple of questions , I just lost my Quaker. He was a sweet thing. I'm on Social security & need to know what he would cost me.i live in Roswell, New Mexico.

In Texas, a baby wild Quaker rescued by a wild life rescue would cost 100$ (they are not raised with human touch, though)
Depending on the color and if they are hand raised, they will cost, in Texas, 250$-2000$ or more. That is not including the expensive exotic vet bills they will require to stay healthy.
