    Yes I agree--this technique is most effective once the root of the child's anger has been identified. It is also helpful for the child to understand how anger is felt in the body, and how the body can give the child signals that he/she is getting angry.

    I will try this. I think it is useful to let the child know that there are stratagies, multiple ones to pick from. Having this bag helps them organise their escape from the pain of not knowing what to do with the feeling of anger.

      I think it's most appropriate for kids aged 6 and up.
