I was never much of a book reader growing up but thanks to motivators like you, my daughters and youtube we now have been given the opportunity to read and share kids books with the rest of the world! THANK YOU!
*I'll probably check out "our mathematical universe" I've always been subpar at math, but everything I enjoy most requires math* So I've concluded I must like math, but I a loud school to ruin it for me💪
The one book I will definitely buy in hardcopy is: The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need by Andrew Tobias. I needed this kind of help 30 years ago when I started my career in critical care nursing. Although now retired, I can only believe this book can help me - even just in the short term. Thanks for the list. As a fellow Pittsburgher, I respect Cuba's views on anything related to investing.
Good Job, ALUX I took the 'book thing' to the limit during my puberty, I became 'super-competent' and a threat to existing 'Academia' (it was too slow and geared to the nominal I.Q. of 80) This book writes itself... ...Juxtapose the 'ages' before tribalism evolved as an extension of the individual's need to exist ...where 'Trust' was the only factor to be overcome ...Let's call that 'Feral Times' ...as with all species of A.V.M. (animal, vegetable, mineral), civility is inevitable and predictable ...only the human has seen fit to 'auto-evolve' in perpetuity as opposed to finding a stable foundation as a 'Universal Element' and become useful to creatures of 'intelligent Cognition' ...as we look for 'intelligence' in the Universe, maybe we should locate some on planet Earth
What's the source for these 15 books? Because he had stated on more than one occasion that his favorite book of all time is Atlas Shrugged, which wasn't on this list.
Speaking of a making a strong case, I just can't say enough, First, he is the ultimate rich person our world has ever seen or will see in relatively foreseeable future, Second his career started through books, Third you video sponsor brand is owned by him, Fourth, Goodreads, audible, Kindle for all of these in many ways he is responsible for, so why not?
I thought it was insightful and informative as usual. The Gospel of Wealth by Andrew Carnegie is the book that stood out the most to me. Thanks for the service. I looking forward to the Sunday video.
Please excuse, I just realized you were referring to Ted Turner's autobiography. Likewise, I found the book to be insightful and informative. What stood out from what I remember reading was how Ted's father was a huge influence on his career. It makes me think about the second chapter in Robert Greene's "Mastery".
