as a HUMSS student, pag di ka pa sure kung ano yung itatake mo na strand tapos gusto mo mag mag bs/ab psych marerecommend ko na mag HUMSS ka kasi yung subjects mas accurate and focused sa behavior or personality ng tao like DISS, Personal development, tapos mga about communication topics eng&fil. nagkaroon pa kami ng lesson regarding clinical counseling.
from my school, may math sa gr11. general math & probstat pero ngayong gr12 na ako, as of now first sem wala kaming science and math😄

I just started my senior high and I've been thinking what I want to do after this. My original plan is to take education but when I read abt psychology It caught my attention, I had second thoughts of pursuing education. I think I might choose psychology cuz if I rlly want to take education, psychology would'nt get my attention and I'll think twice about pursuing it.

malaki advantage ng mga galing sa STEM kasi maapply mo yung learnings mo about research sa senior high also the math like physics tas sciences like chemistry, biology etc

Biglang shift ng landas ba? hahahaha. Okay lang yan!! Madami sa bs psych shifters, may kakilala ako dati Architecture siya tas 2nd year lumipat sa bs psych. Tas she went on to become our council president. Wala yan sa background, basta gusto mo talaga bs psych. Tsaka may edge ka! maapply mo din knowledge mo sa business and psych. For example consumer psychology, paano ba magiisip mga tao pag bumibili. Example neto sa grocery, diba mabilis yung pacing ng music so mabilis mga tao gumalaw pero pag sa hotel mabagal music kasi they want you to stay longer. So ayern lang nag geek out na ko. Kaya yan!!! 💚

I am already a licensed teacher however I have always been interested in Psychology even way back in high school pa most specifically Neuroscience field. I wanted to take the bachelor's Degree however di siya available sa province where I grew up kaya pinagbigyan ko lang muna parents ko to take education. This time, I want to pursue this that's why I am searching info and weighing pros and cons between pursuing masters in my current profession or get another bachelor's degree. Thank you for your video, Psych became a softer option now Lol. I am hoping na things will go smooth lang, that's on the opportunity for me to study this second course kasi I am well aware naman na walang madaling course sa college. Kung difficulties nman pag uusapan regarding Psych, I believe I am willing to go through that since I am passionate and really interested about this course.

Best of luck po sainyo sir Peter! regardless if you take Psych as a college course or post graduate both options are feasible naman po sir since graduate na po kayo. Kayang kaya po yan. Many lessons from educ and psych overlap so you will also have an advantage especially regarding developmental milestones and learning theories. Best of luck po!

Kung halimbawa po ako undergrad ng BSIT naka 2yrs lang.. then nagwork po ako after that . Ngayon po gusto ko mag aral ng BS psychology, makakapag enrol pa din po ba ako direct agad sa 1st yr ng BS Psycho or need po mag undergo muna ng K12?.. year 2012 po ako nag end ng pag ng BSIT.Salamat po.

Ako na gustong mag take ng BS Psych, pero bonak sa science and math and di pa sure kung makakapasok ba sa mga univ kase mababa ang grades nung jhs. HAHAHAAH😭🥲
Hello!! Sorry late reply. Uy grabe legit ako din nung HS di talaga ako magaling sa Math and Science pero sa college di mo naman kailangan maging magaling, basta masipag ka. Feeling ko sobrang kaya mo BS psych kasi masaya talaga siya and interesting. Wag kang susuko. Taas mo bandera nateng mga di magagaling pero masipag!!

Hi new subscriber here 😊 Undergrad ako ng HRM and simula nung mastop ako sa pagaaral nadepressed ako and wla akong choice kundi magwork nlng then nagkaron ng pandemic nawalan ako ng work at lalo akong nadepressed.. Simula nung mejo nakarecover ako narealized ko na gusto ko ulit bumalik sa pagaaral next year and magpalit ng course at BS Psych ang number one choice ko kasi nagkainteres ako na pagaralan ang behavior ng mga tao dahil sa nangyare sakin.

Nag da-doubt ako kasi sabi ng mga tita ko Wala akong mapapala sa psych, Pero gustong gusto ko talaga😅 pero dahil dito bahala sila Basta nag psych ako.
Honestly, hindi malaki pera sa Psych compared sa business/commerce pero malaki pa rin kita niya. Some psychologists generate 80k-100k as professors, some work sa companies 50k yung bayad. So if sa pera, susunod naman yan basta magaling ka at gusto mo ginagawa mo :)

I'm a humms student. And my first option is to take political science in college cuz I really wanna be a lawyer. But since I don't wanna work here in our country. Psychology is my second option. Because this job is demand in some countries like Poland and Australia.

Hi Janine!! Yung BS psych kasi may subjects siya na inclined to sciences talaga like biopsychology, neuroanatomy etc. Kaya magandang undergrad siya for medical school pero overall hindi naman necessary mag med after BS Psych. Madami BS psych graduate na either tumutuloy sa Industrial Psychology (more on sa private companies), tumutuloy ng Psychology mismo (nag masters or PhD para expert sila sa field ng psych) or Law hehe. Pag BS Psych flexible job opportunities siya so if di ka pa sure if med, psych, working, or law. Maganda BS psych to think about your next step after 4 years💚 hope that answered your question Janine hehe

Nangangamba po kasi ako kung itutuloy ko siya sa college (incoming grade 12 po ake hehe), base kasi sa mga na-search ko mahirap daw po makahanap ng trabaho with that degree po >.

Uy legit ako din Im not a science fan!! Pero I'm more of a human behavior person na Im really interested with how people behave. Kaya in a way, regardless na BS Psych yung course ko, I really enjoyed it din :) dont be intimidated by the sciences hehe, more on mageenjoy ka naman sa major subjects mo like Abnormal Psychology, theories of Personality ganun :)

im currently a bscs 1st yr student but sadly I didn't get my first choice course which is bs psychology and by the stigma coming from my parents napunta ako sa sitwasyon na hindi ko alam kung pano ako lalaban at mamomotivate and if mahirapan ako sa course ko this year im planning to shift in my first choice course

Hi Frya! Honestly, hindi siya magastos compared to the other courses. Yung need lang naman bayaran sa Psych is books and tuition siguro miscellanous fees like lab ganun. Pero wala namang other need bayaran na materials or instruments na kailangan for this course :)
