Chef AJ, this has been a singularly enriching presentation marrying culture, art history, philosophy, religion and health. And humor. Peter Rogers is a uniquely intelligent physician who understands well the limitations of humans, even humans with advanced degrees (!) and unafraid to expose. You Chef AJ have brought me a range of guests who have increased my base knowledge on varied subjects, encouraged my desire to research deeper than anyone else I’ve recently encountered here on TH-cam. Sincere thank you to you both!

I like Dr. Peter Rogers talks. He has piqued my interest in literature and philosophy again....maybe I'll go back to reading more Dostoevsky or Kant (just to anger Rand was it?). Just to mention, I always thought Leibniz came up with Calculus at the same time as Newton; both amazing intellects anyway.
Not sure about all the stuff on water and the stuff on fruit; not convinced people need water filters in the States (unless you live in Flint, MI or Jackson, MS). To me, the low hanging fruit are eating a lot of vegetables & fruits (organic if possible), getting adequate exercise/sleep, stress management, and having purpose/goals in life.
Frankly, I'm a pescatarian and the issue of Omega-3 in particular seems to get little discussion with Rogers. I suppose he thinks it's bunk. Not sure if I can buy into it, but it was either Rogers or McDougall who said that many didn't have access to high Omega-3 sources (specifically fish) in the past, nor even now. It's a valid point.
Anyway, he has some superb presentations that meld his philosophy and nutrition in particular. Like McDougall, I may get convinced to switch over to veganism at the very least, and perhaps with no salt, oil or sugar.
