I can only recommend this resource pack. I downloaded today and I can't get enough, it's all so much more alive. It makes Minecraft such a refreshing experience once again.

FunFact: "Fresh animation" animations are from Minecraft dungeons also the creeper color is same as Minecraft dungeon too

The texture pack and the creeper color aren’t from fresh animations. It’s a texture pack called barebones.
Barebores itself copied the creeper texture from MCD and fresh animation doesn't use barbones lmao @@miliIguess

FUN FACT: the people that made the trailers are the same guys that made the minecraft creeper rap from like 9 years ago and also a bunch of other stuff like villager News
And they are still doing stuff but slowly because animation takes forever

As they have released new mobs, they have slowly made their animations more like the ones seen in this mod, the only problem is that it makes the game quality unimaginably inconsistent, since older mobs still have their old animations, it really makes the new mobs they add to the game stick out like a sore thumb, and I think they should either make the new mobs animations look like standard simple Minecraft animations, or update the old mobs to have more animation.
I mean most of why Minecraft is popular is because of compability, if this was added, the storage for mobile users would skyrocketed and you need a mid range 2022+ phone to even run this on 30fps. You also need an 8th gen Intel CPU atleast which is probably not a problem for PC users though but the current playerbase would definitely go down and new players who have a decent device might go up but simplicity is one of Minecraft's appeal imo

Omg, i never thought giving the mobs actual eyes that follow your position like the guardians do normally would make them feel so much more alive and compelling lmao
One thing the RP creator might have overseen is that Vindicators are keeping their arms together with axes hidden and are bringing them out to catch you off-guard. In their pack it's just him walking without any axe, and when approached, he just aquires it out of nowhere.
They're supposed to be like that. Vindicators pull out their axes only when they see a threat, it's not an oversight lol

It's a shame you didn’t show all the mobs or the addons, the Classic Horses addon makes the horses even better. Fresh Animations adds so much more life into the game, I can't play Minecraft without it. I feel bad for abandoning my Bedrock world, but the game feels so lifeless after playing with Fresh Animations XD
What bothers me more is the newer Minecraft mobs have animations that are closer to par with these. The sniffer and the warden have such interesting animations compared to much older mobs. This resource pack is just filling in the gaps that Mojang really needs to
a animation update for minecraft would actually be a really good idea
They could at least add an option to turn on and off animations like this. It'd sure make the game a lot more enjoyable for people looking for something new
My personal favorites are the ravager and the guardian. I just love how fluid and alive the guardian looks. And the ravager.. It just looks cool and intimidating!
This pack made the turtle, foxes, and wolfs look even cuter.
Yes, my feeling of "aaw so cute, woona pet" spiked so hard when seeing the fresh animations, i had to go to my real dog and pet him a few minutes to get that out of my system.
I love how the *Ghast* spreads It's tentacles like an *Octopus* to fly.
Kinda like a marshmallow combined with jellyfish
This is the way Minecraft deserves to look.

This, along with Animal Crossing New Horizons, is really good proof that simply having the eyes of characters/animals move can make the game feel WAY more alive. I love it😊

Bare Bones + Fresh Animations is a goated combo.
That would work well with the Physics Mod since it has now Ragdoll Physics

I mean, these do look cool - but suggesting THESE should be the “default style” of minecraft? Ehhh, I dunno
I think part of vanilla MC’s charm comes from its primitive looking graphics - it isn’t meant to be an epic hd graphics whatever, and that’s ok - I personally think the minecraft trailers these animations are based off look like minecraft song parody videos or element animation videos
But other than that these are pretty cool - I just wouldn’t have them as the DEFAULT
I love how they got a lot of inspiration from the animations from dungeons! (At least it looks it, with the vindicator)
Fresh is much relastic than Java
Like how mojang even proves they can animate the eyes by having the guardians actually move their eye to look at you really makes you wonder how much more animations they could have done

Okay, people keep using Barebones (the trailer looking texture pack) with Fresh Animations, but to do that you need “Fresh Animations + Barebones” so that the barebones mob textures actually work.

This texture pack keeps breaking for me some animations work and some don't it's annoying... Does anybody know what causes this?
Try with optifine. For me it works.

Its a really a sad thing Minecrwft does this superficial updates, but never evolves. Their updates almost show that they dont have the budget, skill, or vision to pull this off.
At this point I almost feel like they cant even do it because they'll have law suits right to left of people saying Mojang stole their idea

The shaders are the only brutal part, Fresh Animations is pretty light and Bare Bones actually improves performance in my experience.

honestly pupil-tracking/movement for all mobs would add so much to the game. the tech is clearly there, as is seen with guardians, idk why mojang refuses to add that. (i do know, it's because any good addition can't be done without them taking 10 steps back, but that's besides the point)

is there anyway to get this to work with 1.19 on fabric? I've done some research and it says you need to have CEM and another entity mod (which is usually just included in optifine) but from what I can tell, the prerequisite mods are either broken or not available for 1.19. I know I could just update my game and all the mods with it, but I'm lazy.
It definitely works on 1.19 but I can't speak for whether it works on fabric.

On fabric you use [ETF] Entity Texture Features and [EMF] Entity Model Features. This also works if you run iris on forge
