Since she doesn't post consistently now people forget how important she was to the genre. After the time of people like Heather Feather, asmr went from niche to huge. Gibi, Gwen, Fred, Glow, etc take off. The one that lead the surge originally though was Darling

You’re one of the VERY few I can handle talking! Your whispers are unmatched!
The only thing that I would recommend “fixing” on is your whispers are often much louder than your asmr sounds.. I have to turn my volume up pretty high to get the full asmr sounds, but than I struggle with your voice being too loud..

One of unique things that I like about your videos is the sense of "just playing around/having fun". It's obvious the effort that has gone into preparation and production but the overall video has the vibe of a fun roleplay game. It's chill in a good way.
