Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward
Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven'
Such is the rule of honour
Nice man, nice!
Bada dun dun dun DA dun Bada dun dun dun DA
That was honorable in ancient times, not modern day.
Sure, you can be honorable in prison lol
@@7James77 You actually can be of sorts... Not being a "RAT" etc. is where it begins.. LOL The song 512 says enough about it... It is truthful--take it from experience. "A whole new world--awaits inside"...
Varg and Dimebag are gonna be the top two
BITCH U GUESSED IT!!!! WHOOOO!
gtfo
The fact he met with the family afterwards speaks volumes about Randy's character.
Compare how Randy behaved in this situation, to how Vince Neil behaved. Vince is a total coward, Randy is a real man.
Dimebag Darrell's death is gonna be #1
My prediction is that the whole Varg Vikernes thing will be #1.
that will probably be the #2, #1 is the church burnings for sure
oh shit i forgot about that. you're probably right.
grindcoremaniac correct
It is
See, this is how I feel on this entire situation. Whatever happens to you at their concerts is your fault. If this person did get on stage and Randy pushed him off and he died, that's his fault, not Randy's. Same thing happened 10 years ago with Darrell Abbot of Pantera, a deranged fan hopped on stage and shot him. I would've pushed him off also.
+FailDGamers Just had a great idea. Next time I go on a tour with my band I'll hire a sniper to kill anyone that jumps on the stage.
scarletovergods wtf
+scarletlovergods I should not have laughed at that, but I did
I myself am a musician and do not like it when someone tries to rush the stage. I have swung guitars at such people and Randy did make several requests that people refrain from rushing the stage. And if you look at the video closely it wasn't Randy who pushed that fan off the stage but an employee of the venue.
A fan that rushes the stage is subject to being injured and/or death.
You'd think thats "understood risks" nowadays!!---same with mosh pits!!!
Randy being the man that he is makes me love Lamb Of God even more now. Randy is one of the best vocalist ever and a true man for going back to Prague instead of staying home here in the States like he could have. He is a true man for that in my book.
I agree, yet he didn't knowingly go back because of it as reported... They layed like lions waiting for his return on tour.. (straight bitch move by them) as I am sure had someone contacted the band about it--it might of been a better ending.. Still respect Randy though!
How do you not know what moshing or stage diving is after it's been done for so many decades...
Anyone noticed that one guy in the beginning was talking about Randy Blythe while wearing a Randy “Macho Man” Savage shirt?
Can't for the life of me get this video to play.
Remember kids the stage is there for the band to perform not for you to jump off of. Give them space and enjoy the show that way everyone goes home safe 🤘
When is the LoG Doco going to be released? I wanna watch that shit already.
It came out a while ago. I saw it about a month ago. It was pretty good
Brian Karsberg As the Palaces Burn DVD Documentary, releases the 14th of this month, so I doubt you seen it.
***** A lot of venues showed it in March. I saw it at the Brighton Music Hall in Massachusetts.
Brian Karsberg YOU LUCKY!
Replace As I Lay Crying murder for hire and Guns N Roses/Metallica riots with Randy Rhoads death and Iron Maiden/Sharon Osbourne Ozzfest 2005 incident.
The video won't even play. Not the first time on this channel...
Just skip the video a bit, it will load.
Patrick Rochon Nope
I'm having the same problem.
The list was recorded before all of that if I'm not mistaken.
Same problem, just got the video working though
1:35 song?
Lamb of God - Vigil
Why will this video not play!?!?!
I think its absurd that you have to go to jail for accidentally killing someone.
Really? So running a red light you didn't see, and consequently killing a pedestrian, is cool? No. You keep both eyes in the road and you're hands upon the wheel. A parent isn't gonna wanna hear about your momentary reaction. You killed their kid. Randy had no business throwing anyone from the stage. You could get killed that way. If the bouncer had done something so stupid, he'd be at fault for that young man's death, and you fuckers wouldn't even give a shit. I saw Glen Danzing in Detroit back in 1993, and the fucker was kicking people in the head that were trying to climb the stage. That ain't cool. Saw ICP a few times and they throw two liter bottles of Faygo into the crowd, and invite them to rush the stage. People get trampled and suffocated this way. Shit's been going on for years. Death in mosh pits. Nothing new, but the shit ain't cool. When you get out of your twenties and thirties, you notice younger people doing a lot of thoughtless and dangerous shit. They have very little sense of their mortality and often romanticize death and destruction. Randy wasn't thinking about the consequences, because he's involved in an art form that is charged with violence and mayhem. If a big pop star or folk singer threw a fan offstage and killed him, the news would have a field day, and the prosecution would have a good case. You don't toss people from the stage. Like, I said, you could kill them. It's not a metal thing, it's a thoughtless act of violence, which is accepted in punk and metal culture, but nowhere else. Grow up, you fucking Neanderthals. Metal up your Ass, and Let the Bodies hit the Floor, are metaphors; they are not to be taking literally.
+Jimie Williams Well dang son better go back to your Bieber, cause this shit's obviously way too metal for you. Randy should have just waited until he got stabbed or something before deciding maybe he should shove him out his office right? Never know, random kid at a show in some mystery country, could have had a million different intentions, so who do we protect?
Anyway, you're all about pointing fingers, face it the kid shouldn't have been on stage in the first place so it's negligence on the part of the kid himself, security, organizers, etc. Furthermore Randy obviously never meant to cause his death, that part's called an accident, the same as your clever red light example isn't murder one. Regardless the dude has 2-ton balls of steel willingly marching back out there to his trial for an accident he clearly felt extremely remorseful about. He's no monster, and had to face the parents. Show some respect.
+Jimie Williams lol and some people throw mic stands in the crowd and dont get penalized at all because they are an ex drug addict.
+Jimie Williams This isn't about what is metal and what isn't, it's not about people getting away with obvious malicious acts. Mr Blythe was working on his stage doing his job to the best of his ability when a fan decided to circumvent security to an off limits area. The fan was ejected appropriately, he was not hip tossed to the ground or kicked and punched by band mates as has happened in the past. A regular occurrence at concerts (not solely metal or even rock) is stage diving. In light of the occurring performance the fan was removed from the stage in a way that is expected, if not sought after by many fans at a concert.
Randy had no intent on hurting this intruder, only to make some lemonade from a basket of lemons and continue on with the show. Unfortunately the concert goer succumbed to the injuries likely caused by his fall from an off limits area. His passing and subsequent suit/charges are a direct result of his malicious entry to an area that he is not allowed to be. Insurance is just one of the small reasons why he is not allowed there.
Are the liabilities not clearly stated on the ticket, at entrances and throughout the building? Are people to expect that their disregard for rules, regulations and laws to be something applauded? Why was Mr Blythe asked to fork over $500k or face charges? Seems like some people don't quite understand how things work, and others seem to back them because their emotions say so.. Well the rest of us are going to live in the real world, feel free to join us at your convenience.
Jimie Williams violent j of icp hit a kid in the head with his microphone in 97 for grabbing his hair
Is it wrong im expecting ian watkins to place?
***** But MI covered it
+Jack Edge it's worse that I expect Steve Klein(New Found Glory) to place knowing it has absolutely nothing to do with metal.
What's the first song they play?
Not the way I want my hometown to be publicized....
Taimir Gore Not how the band wanted to be publicised either
Richmond Va in the house! We’re all good!
I lose all sympathy for the bereaved when LARGE CASH SETTLEMENTS come into play.
Yeah, tell me how cash makes it all disappear somehow?---never understood that one either.. :)
1:06 - IT'S PRONOUNCED SUPPOSEDLY, NOT SUPPOSEBLY, DAMMIT!
Video wont play.
Authorities are not bound by any law that states must notify a wanted suspect of an issued warrant.
True but being an international issue--you think they would have courtesy called atleast to see how he would handle it..
I'm guessing they'll just lump the whole black metal fiasco together, then?
It wont start the video, but i bet its not that controversial...and i agree with that guy that said it should have been about dimebag, varg, faust and guys...u could have done it better :)
Supposably - Thanks for the laugh Jose.
I was gonna say,you can't say supposedly about something that really happened and you can't say supposebly as an actual word
the video is not working guys...
Just forward some of it. Same thing happened to me.
Bly not Blyth!!!
James Rodolfo It's Blythe :)
All im going to say is dimebag we do not want that happening again
The Family wanted cash? That kinda says it all.
IT FINALLY WORKS
respect randyblyth
an honourable man
Interesting. Typical example of how the world and life itself is pretty much fucked but having the courage to face shit head on. Well done, Randy.
0:50 biggest poser ive ever seen
Why is he a poser?
Akseli Janhunen *cough* Bruce Dickinson
Akseli Janhunen Neither do I, it's still in growing out phase
American leadership could learn a thing or to from Randy.
The screaming part?
Stop saying heavy metal, say just metal. Like wtf, mayhem are not heavy metal, pantera ain't heavy metal.
No
TickerVideos pantera was heavy metal
Municipal waste! Fellow Richmond band!
Still fuckin playback error
Playback error
My 2 cents:
Unless he was acting in self-defense he should go to prison. Maybe 10 years is too much, but 5 seems reasonable. That's just common sense to me. You use violence only in self-defense.
About coming back to Prague: 'That's how a man deals with problems, just or unjust'. If I though that Islamic law was dumb and unjust I would definitely consider it silly to go back and face a trial there. Same with Czech Republic. 'Just or unjust' is a very important distinction.
+scarletovergods Your two cents aren't worth shit.
What violence did he use?
No violence was used on Randy's part but he did repeatedly show his discontent for people rushing the stage. Willie Adler has also expressed same particularly after Dimebag's murder. Every performer would be defensive after that regardless of where they play(ed). Plus as I said in another comment, it wasn't Randy who pushed him off if you look at the video footage closely.
Someone dun goof'd
Metal Injection!?!? I've gotten flu shot injections that were more metal. Doc Coyle in that brand new Dio shirt should be #1 on the list. SMH
How do I like this
"Going back was such a man move", well maybe, maybe he wanted his ooo i forget, o yeah $400,000 back. now I'm with randy on this, that was fucked up and it wasn't his fault but stop all this honourable shit.
if it was about all this honourable stuff then the kids parents were bastards, trying to claim money for that, they were exploiting him and his wealth.
ur arguing in circles with yourself
That was a man move
what really ?? czech republic you got a bad check in my brain now
Weak
It wont start the video, but i bet its not that controversial...and i agree with that guy that said it should have been about dimebag, varg, faust and guys...u could have done it better :)
