Your hookbait rarely actually stays on feeder, underwater filming has shown that. Most fish take hookbait once it seperated from the feeder

Great video, love Tommy! One question though, when your casting into deeper water (8ft plus) I find the tip is under pressure whilst the feeder sinks but then when it hits the bottom the line goes slack - do you then wind in until you get line tight or does this move the feeder whilst your doing it?
Just Incase they don't reply ..try to follow the feeder down once you hit the clip so it's not tight , then put the tip under the water to sink it rather than trying to wind , a micro adjustment of the reel should finish the job . Guru did an underwater feature and it showed that even putting a small bend in the rod often moved the feeder .
