Hi, great video. I have a garden that I would like to have LONG-FLOWERING MEADOW (cut annually) or a SHORT-FLOWERING one (cut every 4 to 6 weeks), but I would also like to garden for butterflies. I live in a town and I can't dump the grass cuttings. Can I put the grass cuttings in an 8 metre squared area and let nettles grow in it to be used as caterpillar food. Will the nutrients from this area leak out further enriching the whole garden making it impossible to grow wild flowers? The total grass area is approx. 105 metres squared. Thanks in advance.
@@Prometheus4096 That's true, you really can't have a meadow in a garden, a no mow summer rather than a no mow may and we will see what happens, it looks after itself though, I only have to cut the grass in September, no gardening expertise required.
Fantastic video

You can't really have a meadow in your garden. And for sure you can't if you need to ask these questions on YT comments.
