That yarn winding machine would be a great addition to an unknitting machine that takes your sweaters apart again.

Some great out of the box thinking and very inspirational to watch. Not only for designing new Machern but also for modifying existing components. Even you you’re not interested in the final outcome it’s still worth watching.

      🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚
🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.
🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

These are really ingenious devices. Actually, the yarn winding machine could have been done with a regular motor instead of a stepper motor controlled with an Arduino. You could use the Arduino to tell the winder how much yarn you wanted wound into a ball.

You build some incredible designs. Thank you for sharing. Only thing, and I have to say it. I'd much rather hear you narrate / discuss the build, even if it's highlights, give me insights on a particular design choice, etc.... than hearing the endless looping music that frankly, gets annoying as hell after about 120 seconds. Your designs are compelling, the thoughts behind them or build discussion would make these videos ten times more desirable. Once again. Thank you.

I can think of a number even so not so common projects for the Arduino. What would you think of an automatic prayer drum turner for in the Buddhist temple! Every day at the same time the right prayer at the right time.
And what would you say about an automatic holy cow brush. Everybody knows that cow like to be brushed so now and then, but some cow like to be brushed from left to right, or from front to rear, while other cows like to be brushed from the opposite side. This automatic machine can recognize any specific cow by the spots and let the brushes rotate in her preferred way. Never again there will be a mad cow complaining about being brushed the wrong way. It can also be made for elephants, but then a hole lot bigger!
There are so much possibilities, an intelligent fresh mayonnaise mixer, an automatic massage stick intensity selector for women, a lucky seven dice throwing machine or an automatic polarisation selector for old weather satellites.

Pavan, Great question. I hope he will respond to say that you dont need a degree in engineering to do this stuff. I ran an automations systems shop in Coimbatore more than a decade back. I personally got to know many skilled technicians who had basic education. Sadly our system in the country doesnt really appreciate innovation at an individual level given we are so focussed on degrees. Those who dared to do something new out of the ordinary were under appreciated. Our government is more interested in creating sweat shops for multinational companies. The bureaucracy does lip service to small business development. And the financial crashes pushed many of these small innovation shops into bankruptcy. My own firm dared to go out of the country and create alliances with some top research institutions in Germany and tries to bring back technical products that were new and developed on our soil. The "Make in India" government drive today is another farce. But thanks to new ways of pushing innovations and skills like you tube, small innovators can overcome these hurdles.
We badly need great technicians and skilled workers in the manufacturing sector today who can bring about a change. If the Chinese can do it we too can!
