Excellent video. Always been a big fan of Quest machines. Have used them since 2017 and the Q40. Used all models since with the exception of the Q60. The Q35 looks impressive, especially given the price point.
Thank you for watching and commenting. I have been very impressed with the Q35. I will be doing a V80 video soon and then also putting some cheaper Quest machines like the X5 head to head with some others.
@@thw-t4i The V80’s have arrived in South Africa, we are selling them already. I am sure your UK dealer will be getting their allocation soon if they have ordered.
Hi! Thanks for your video, it's very helpful!!! Have you ever tried the Minelab Vanquish 540? I'm looking to buy a metal detector specifically for beach hunting, and I'm trying to decide which one is better. Could you share your thoughts or comparison between the Quest Q35 and the Minelab Vanquish 540? Greetings from Mexico!
Nice to hear from you in Mexico. Both good machines and will be personal preference which each person chooses. 540 uses multi frequency simultaneously and Q35 has different selectable frequencies but can only use one freq at a time. 540 less features and not waterproof but good performance. Q35 solid machine with good features
Hi! I’m a Quest dealer in S.Korea.I love your this video. Can I use this video? I will put Korean subtitles in this video. I'm sure it will help Korean users a lot.
Hi, youtube has Korean subtitles available for this video already. Make sure subtitles/CC (Closed Captions) is selected on. Then in settings, choose Auto Translate and then select Korean. Korean subtitles are now displayed on the video.
@@treasure_hunters okay thank you very much! Because someone advised me xterra but the seller here is not really helpfull, on the other hand q35 s seller is really helpful guy about everything. So If I go with q35 I wouldn’t regret not to have xterra 🙏🏼
Im looking to upgrade from my X5 to Q35 because i dont feel like my X5 is doing the job, but im not sure wich is the right detector for Danish fields/farmland with lot of iron scrap hope you can help love from Denmark
It's mostly clay soil with lot of iron trash in the fields, I'm just looking for a machine with more depth and better id's for a more fun expirience than what im getting from the X5. Thank you so much for the answer!
Hello from Greece, I am a vanquish 540 owner and I want a waterproof metal detector in order to search in salt water beaches mostly but also in the parks and in the fields. I was looking to X-Terra Pro but I saw some videos about the jumping vdi numbers and poor performance in contrast to other metal detectors. About Quest Q35 I do not know much. As I told you I have a vanquish 540 which is good detector with stable and reliable vdi numbers but it is not waterproof. I am very confused and I do not know what to buy X-Terra Pro, Quest Q35 or something else? My budget is 300€. Since I have noticed you have used them both I would like your suggestion. I am waiting for your reply, thanks in advance.
Yiasou vambiros! If you love your Minelab 540 and want to stay within the Minelab family, then I suggest upgrading straight to the Minelab Equinox series of detectors. They are waterproof and very good in the salt water beaches, parks and fields with mostly stable VDI's. However, if your budget does not allow for the Equinox series, the X-Terra Pro is not a bad option but certainly not as good as the Equinox. Between Quest Q35 and X-Terra Pro would be a personal choice, both have pros and cons, but ultimately you would probably be happy with either machine. Since you already know and are happy with your Minelab, maybe better to stay with that brand.
Thanks again for your answer, what is your opinion about Simplex new generation metal detectors Lite, BT, Ultra for salt water beach detecting compared to X-Terra Pro?@@treasure_hunters
@@vambiros i think for your budget better is the simplex ULTRA, i have the simplex plus and simplex lite . The simplex LITE is for low depth and the vdi is not specific . The simplex PLUS is very good detector if you like it BUT the price is the same with ULTRA.
