This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my TH-cam channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,086 subs and > 900 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

When not aware, we live through the memories and their emotional state. As we get older we accumulate more experiences. We become complex. We become mental products of our experiences, and the way we continue to hold on to them. The shadow is the region holding our negative experiences that we don't want to face and worse yet, want anyone to know. Shame. Anger against perpetrators. Guilt. We live through these, trying to not be aware of them. But they continue to emerge from the garden. Stripping away the analogous metaphor we actually have, The emotional perceptions of our memories is what gives them their flavor and strength. We deny them yet suffer their cyclical fury imposed upon us. When we do shadow work, we are changing the specific perception of the offense until it loses all power. The shame is let go. It ceases to act out. The hate is let go. It ceases to act out. And so on. The Hero's Journey. Cross the threshold and defeat the creatures before emerging with the prize of inner healing and further mastery of life.

    • @human-rehab
      @human-rehab 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Interesting, would you say that negative self-perception and limiting beliefs are part of the shadow or is it more that they find fuel there? And do you think recapitulation is similar to shadow work or another thing entirely? What you describe as the perception of the offence sounds similar to me, is why I ask

@@human-rehab Hi Dan. Yes, you are on to it. I don't know if it's recapitulation. I would have to look into it more but I have something fun that may interest you. A sequential template from antiquity, shared by the entire globe, framing religions and mythologies. It is how to "self heal."
Apparently humans are much the same today as they were 6000 years ago. I am working at interpreting them and found the way to unlock them and extract that template. We use knowledge to interact with ourselves and our memories to change their energy state and thus change our inner being. We play with neuro-plasticity. The brain was molded and we are learning to reshape it. Not sure if this will post if I invite you to check out what I am working on. I checked your comment on your channel. I think it will highly interest people you. You fit the profile. YT doesn't like spamming. Leave me a comment there and I can direct you to video's. They are all my work but I show what I find, I don't tell people what to believe of think. At this level we are not relinquishing to a supernatural, higher power. We are looking inward, so it becomes a personal trip. No one follows anyone. We just learn together. It's a small community of seekers. Dan

Great stuff David. My interpretation is this is basically Neville Goddard's "The Pruning Sheers of Revision" lecture.
In that lecture Neville teaches us that we can literally change our present as it's happening in real time and moving into the future by simply re-remembering those past events that didn't quite turn out the way we wanted them to or expected them to.
This is essentially the very definition of "shadow work."

    • @JoyfulUniter

Neville is the best it's ridiculous how truthful and accurate his stuff is, all the dozens of people I learned from, they all got thier stuff from Neville, joe dispenza people like that, and i can't prove it but abdullah is obviously arch. michael, he shows up when a person fully renounces evil to guide their ascension teach them further, he did with me too, also a black guy he likes being a black guy, prob the big d*cks, kidding kidding...I like to imagine Neville had a moment in his life where he was like, no more f***ing around, it's the truth, or nothing at all. Wonder what it was, what had to happen to forge the man Neville Goddard?

There's one fundamental flaw I see in all of this (not your work or presentation) about attraction to us, of not so pleasant things. All the damage that children endure and suppress into the sub-conscious actually grows the shadow in all ways creates this sort of magnetism...so we start attracting people or circumstances and have virtually no idea how or why such things keep happening. They (whoever 'they' are) never told us the rules of how this reality works, so most of us are bumping around in the darkness of ignorance to such things. It's not written in any 'rule book' that any of us are given, so we just don't know. For most people, nobody ever tells them or explains.

If I may point out a few things that most overlook about the creation of the Shadow and how it becomes a thing for us at all. Firstly, the structure of our Shadow comes to us through inheritance. Genetic memories as it were or generational trauma, passed down from parent to child, generationally. It's a thing. It explains to some degree how we each individually 'suffer the sins of thy father and thy mother' as it's said. Secondly, our shadow forms from childhood trauma(s) that are unresolved. The Shadow forms from trauma and our inability to properly or appropriately express or release the damage those traumas created within our minds, emotional body, energy body or our psychology. Just some food for contemplative thought.

    USEFUL INFORMATION HERE 👁👇
I used to do a lot of letting go after reading the book. At the beginning it was horrible, I had a lot of represed emotion, but I kept at it every day for a little while, some days I just dive very deeply and felt really bad but I let it happen. If I felt sad I cried, if I felt anxious or fearful I shivered, If I felt anger I got very tense and tighten my muscles.
After a while you begin to notice you feel different about things. I would say it's a very gradual process, one day you realize you didn't get triggered by something that used to trigger you. Or you find some new information that gives you a better understanding of some of your traumas and helps you let go intelectually too. Like an epiphany that comes from the ouside world 🤯🤯🤯 Knowledge will set you free, they say
Anyway, I came to say that at some point I discovered body-emotional therapy (don't know how to actually translate it) and realized that if you emit noise your releases are a lot more effective. It has some physiological and biochemical reasons I don't really remember. But now whenever I feel anxious or angry I just scream into a pillow for a few seconds, and it feels so good after it. Like a very physical release. Also if I'm very sad if I let my crying get some sound in it, I feel it has the same effect.
    Hope you find it useful
By the way, scream from your diaphragm so you don't hurt your vocal chords. Don't scream like you are metal band singer, just start emiting noise and slowly put more force into it, from your diaphragm, like trying to put that emotion into the sound.

"... and many of them are there sice childhood." Try longer: since a million past lifes ago. Some of us were warriors and killing was everything we knew and loved and enjoyed. Others were dragons, others were rulers. Shadow work is not clearing this life's crap in order to get better at grinding, spinning the hamsters wheel faster in this reality. Its about owning, feeling and clearing really really really old crap that haunts you in your last 1000 lifes.
