Yay! Love this! Danish, Swedish and Norwegian relation is just like Portuguese and Spanish, Italian. I totally relate. In Brazil, we don't have a whole different dialect in every region, but the accents and terms variate in such a way that it kind of does. I actually bragged to myself I could pretty much pronounce all of the difficult words. As an aspirant linguist I'm constantly intrigued by languages connections and I appreciate how you've made an introduction about it's characteristics and dialects, they are all a part of the history of a group of people, it's about culture and social engagement. This casual summer look of your's caught my attention hands down...
Keep going!!!!! This video is amazing. I'm French and I'm learning norwegian to live over there. It will helps me a lot. Thank you so much. Relaxing and learning is the best combo
I keep watching those Norwegian ASMR videos past midnight and my brain is partly fighting to stay awake and actually learn and partly just wants to sleep 😴
This is my first time watching one of your videos, and if I didn't know that you were Norwegian because of the subject matter of this video, I probably would have thought you were American. You basically sound like it when you speak English, and it's tripping me out haha
I’ve become to learn Norwegian years ago because I was and I still fan of a Norwegian singer (Sigrid) so it’s very cool to see videos like this that make me want to keep learning ! Thanks ✨
This is awesome! I live in America but a lot of my family spoke Norwegian. My grandmother would regularly write letter to our distant family still living in Norway. This is so relaxing but also informative!
as always, such a good video! i don't speak and not currently learning norwegian, but it's so nice to see and learn new languages. for me, i think it's important to learn something new, especially languages, in order to connect with more people. because in some cases, we can't really connect with other people because of language barriers. and usually, it's gonna be different learning language from textbooks compared to learning from natives and life experiences. and because i love to meet new people and connecting with people in general, i think i'd consider learning norwegian in the future (not now, coz i'm already occupied with learning french hahaha) so thank you for giving us a platform to learn your language. keep it up, hermy! much love xo
Oh, I can relax and learn something new at the same time, interesting 🤨 I'm brazilian and I barely know english, I think norwegian is something I can't deal yet haha
I learn English and Chinese , started to learn Norwegian but gave up bcs 3 languages was too many. You make me want to start again ! I like the sounds of it
It's so simular to German. I think i just need to watch your videos ones and can remember all vocabulary. It's nearly German 🤔. Love your style of explaining!
yaaaay i loved this! scandi languages nerd here (learning swedish, but hopefully i'll get to norwegian one day!). it's so interesting that Norwegian has two ways of writing the language (and it's so cool!). also, can't wait to see the next episodes for this!
I feel like hade is bye while ha det bra is kinda like good bye, that’s at least how I would describe it! Great video tho! I pronounce things quite different tho cus I’m from Trondheim!
Haha "Sorry, English is not my first language." Really is an amazing excuse. If sometimes I feel like I'm not making much sense or make a grammatical error I just say that and it's all good 👌😌
this is actually like Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. Portuguese ppl tend to understand better Spanish and Italian than they understand us. So if someone from Portugal goes to Spain, we tend to just speak spanish w/ them, and if we go to Italy we also speak Spanish cuz somehow they understand it better than Portuguese lol. Great video :)
I love this I was repeating all the words trying to say things and I think I got them mostly !! I miss chatting to you hermy brother you need to call Me x
Hei, jeg er algerisk og jeg lære norsk siden juni fordi jeg elsker så mye Norge, også videoen din er så greit fordi det er god å høre noen hvem bor i Norge snakker på norsk
It's been 2 years, but .. do you understand Churchill? I struggle to understand British people in general (my teachers were Americans) and it bothers me 😂
Our ASMR BF is back to teach us new language🥰💞💞
Oof...He's tooo cute...😳 ❤
Omg your a queen fan😍. I love queen and I make covers of there songs on my channel!!!

Haha! Thank you so much! I lived in Texas from 2005-08 when I was a kid, that’s probably where the accent comes from ;)
I've never felt so relaxed while learning a new language ☺️
Norwegian kinda reminds me of a combination of between English and Dutch/German 😅
Thank you! I can see that!🤗
Ngl this made me want to start learning Norwegian for real

Something like that.
I'm trying to learn the dialect of bokmål and I LOVE Norway. No idea why though.
I learned a lot through this vid
Waiting for more
I started learning it about a year ago but stopped. I originally started because my family is Norwegian and it's an awesome place.
Didn’t understand nothing but still enjoying it 😆💖
Reminds me of German, especially the words for good night, good day, and all that.
Now I‘m finally ready for Oslo. Thank you very much. 🥰
