It's hard to find a dud track on Power Windows or Grace Under Pressure. Probably Rush's two most solid albums

Their 'Power Windows' album is a masterpiece! It is, the prime showcase example of the PROPER use of synths, and other sundry effects, to properly embellish song structure in order to conjure up emotions like foreboading, impending doom, surprise, etc. For example, a minute into this incredible song we hear a properly placed synth that conjures up an uneasy foreboading feeling of what's to come later in the song, subject-wise and music-wise! It is PURE GENIUS, and this is why 'Power Windows' is a masterclass synth embellished prog rock release!

Neils playing was a on whole different level this album. His bass drum on these songs on Power Windows just drives the songs. So effin precise

What’s the best Rush song? The last one you listened to.

All those "8-song 80's albums" were absolutely brilliant. Neil was into African percussion, add the technology of the time. Alex however wasn't totally won over. But how much were they able to accomplish in ten years!

So hard to pick a favorite track on this album but if had to, this would be it.
Better the pride that resides in a citizen of the world… than the pride that divides when a colorful rag is unfurled.

This song and Big Money were released as a pre-release single before the album came out and sold well.

This is my favorite song on Power Windows and has been since I bought it on day one. Musically it’s incredible, and it includes some of my favorite lyrics from Neil ever.

Timeless lyrics from what I've seen of human nature. Feel sorry for all the current blokes mired in Ukr who just want to go home...

"Dont feed the people but we feed the machines. Cant really feel what international means".......... GEEEEEZ!! Alexs guitar playing is phenomenal on this album. This is my favourite RUSH album and for me the greatest album ever made.

Ok, so that was really good to. So four outstanding tracks on this album. It's been a long while since I last listened to this album. It's never been one of my favorite albums by them. It would be towards the bottom if I was ranking them. But I really enjoyed listening to to that.

Wow. How is it that RUSH can talk so clearly to today from 40 years ago? …”and if that wasn’t evil enough, we get the drunken and the passionate pride, of the citizens along for the ride!”

Huge fan of the older Rush, doesn’t matter what album but once Signals hits I love certain songs not albums. But if I were forced to pick my favorite song overall I would pick this one!

I love everything on the first 12 albums... up to the last two tracks on Hold Your Fire (Tai Shan and High Water) the following albums have individual tracks I love but tracks I tend to skip. Still there aren't many bands that have 12 albums that I love completely (except 2 tracks)

Musically amazing song, not one of my favorite messages from Neil though, if you're allowed to not like something he wrote. It's lamenting a problem that can't be fixed, and the roots go back millennia. They're trying to "fix" it by force now and it's going pretty horribly.
