We need more videos like this! so informative. Thank you. Looks like a great place for a 50hr pilot like myself to gain some experience.
It is. You can gain lots of hours. I was there last year. Flew every day for 3-5 hours.
Nice video Tom! its hard to go passed where you landed .. the venturi bends the thermals alot and you need to drift deep to continue.
Indeed, and going deep is a commitment with a more complex retrieve, organized I'm up for it. C U next year in CR!
Great video, as always! Looks like a good place for someone relatively new to the sport.
Awesome place to fly. I got my first XC there last March.
So excitingI will be there in a few days with my glider.Which weather forecast do you use?
Hm, maybe XCskies or Windy? Check in with the locals I suggest.
Nice video Tom, Costa Rica is on my flying list. Did you use a guide service or have a club connection?
Dan, I met up with friends in Dominical, and in Rivas with the same friends we joined the Rivas comp. The area has options for professional guidance. Not sure of the area has flying clubs.
Another superb video! How demanding the Xenon for a pilot who fly mid C wings a lot? Normaly I do XC on flatland in light and rough conditions too.
The Nova Xenon although quite performant is very easy to fly coming from a mid C. Enjoy the 2 liner feeling.
