Actually it could do lot better than It did, but they had to optimize it for the ps2, so the upgrade it recieved was minimal (textures, some lighting, models). That and bad control mapping (i have no idea why they segmented the boost, or forced motion controls) Made this game a more bothering experience than it should
As much as I love Sonic Unleashed on PS3 and Xbox 360 I can't deny how much more satisfying boosting is on the Wii and PS2 versions, limiting the boost makes it so much more fulfilling to use it, it's like, you're playing awesome! here is your reward! rather than, you collected a ring! press X to blast through the level and pummel through enemies completely invulnerable!

In the hd version you go much faster, there is more platforming challenges and parts of the level that require quick reflexes, and keeping that speed to beat the level which what makes the hd version of levels really fun. All you do is run forward here. All the Wii/Ps2 day stages and even the night stages suck compare to the hd Ps3/X360 version.
@@mizzix The straight line level design only appears in Forces the other boost games had alternative paths for you to take and you do a lot more in them that keeps you active. Also I rarely see any platforming in the Ps2/Wii version day stages, all I see is most of the levels being, spacious and empty open lanes where all your doing is running look at Act 1 for Apatos for example. In the HD versions your doing a lot more platforming and reactive gameplay that makes it a joy to play through. The Wii and Ps2 version is pretty boring.

I never beated it as a kid because i gave up at 13 olds. I should have kept going though but i certainly Wlil beat it at 19 years old!!!! Cause i hate not finishing games a long time ago I WILL COMPLETE THIS!! And on the Wii. Because i dont have a Ps3 for sonic unleashed. Or a good controller. Because the classic controls and the wii remote. They are bad. I doubt skilled players with 100% reaction time will be able to beat the game on the hardest controls and thats Wii remote. I hate the wii remote but its iconic obviously
This version of Sonic unleashed for Wii and ps2 suck game play is horrible and graphics are bad. But the PS4 and Xbox version is far beyond perfect! It's amazing

SUCCESSFUL JORDAN yeah, the Wii stages are mostly straight hallways, but so are the first few levels of the 360 version (which isn’t even in HD, btw)
