Battle front fatigue is definitely real I slept in my gear for 7 days straight and would sleep for 10 15 how ever many minutes I could when I could and can still do it to this day I can be asleep in 5 minutes and be awake and alert in 5 minutes my wife says it’s a side affect of war but it has come in handy in a lot of situations

I was a US Marine platoon commander in the Vietnam War 1968-69. Hard year. It was mentally and physically exhausting. One of the hardest things to do is stay awake. I remember during the monsoon season being so exhausted that I learned to just lay down in the mud during driving rain and fall asleep. I know exactly what those soldiers are experiencing.

This is how this is going to look. Russia spent 8 months to gain 4kms in Bahkmut. Ukraine is going to drive 50 km/hr and reach Melitipol. It will be like Izyum... by the time we hear the counteroffensive started, Melitopol will be in Ukraine's control and Himars will be raining on Crimea.

The weather in Bakhmut has been heavy snow probably starting last night so I don't think either side will be able to do much. One Ukrainian soldier that I've seen on other video is a tall guy and he had snow above his knees in the trenches. I hope they all have a chance to stay warm and rest. They will certainly need it. Yeah it happened to me too. Though I can not remember a thing from "being away" just noticing the distance, and the people around me (Edit: Before and after). (This was summit climbing at winter during some non military volunteer "hell week")

Sleeping while walking is definitely true.. i was on a 7 day mission with no sleep other than a few minutes a day and while following the glow patches of the guy ahead of me in the middle of the night I realized i must have been asleep for at least 30 minutes

With the video heading it seems a lot of people are confused as to whom is "bleeding out", it's the Russians people. BUT, that doesn't mean that Ukraine is winning by any means. It's a Horrific Tragedy unfolding before our eyes really, for both sides. Of course the Russians as a nation do deserve what's happening in some sense, but remember that some of those guys don't and didn't want to be there and it's the difference between life and death to defy their leadership (even if not for them if they surrender, but for their families back home as well), so not an easy choice to make. My dad used to work in factory with heavy machines. When he did fall asleep infront of a TV, if you shut down the TV he would wake up instantly =) rest well, heroes. and stay safe out there

When I was in the army, the time sargent said rest, well... you rest! No matter where
I was in The Army in a non combat country and anybody who has been in the Military will be able to sleep standing up. That is the nature of the beast that anybody who has not been in the Military will not be familiar with. If you haven't been there there are a lot of things you will not understand. One problem I have to this day is hearing loss. It is frustrating because a lot of people simply do not understand how that happens and you can't do anything about it. Relationships among other things makes transition back into civilian life difficult.

You can't fight a war without strong friends and neighbours. Poland has done so much for Ukraine and is still doing. A big hug and tons of respect to Poland. I'm just looking at Hungary and Orban. It's a shame Hungary is in NATO or EU. These people are Iranian, even their language does not sound European.
Poland has been AMAZING in it's support not only in military gear but in taking care of Ukrainian refugee's . BIG thanks to Poland from me in Australia. I constantly write to my Politicians demanding we send more aid to Poland to assist with the ongoing costs. We are far away down-under so sending military aid is not as practical but sending financial assistance is merely a click of a few buttons.

There was a Ukrainian channel called K-2 54. Just posted a video with a view from the drone from above, outstanding hi definition. In this video show, Ukrainian tanks are attaching Russian positions, the tanks out flank Russian trenches, moving and firing at trenches same time and forced Russian into corners, Russian fought back, fired anti tank guide missile but missed, when then the tank got too close they threw a hand grenade at the tank, and Ukraine tank fired back with half dozen 125mm rounds at point bland about 10 meters away, with dozen Russian had nowhere to run, they all evaporated in font of your eyes, this is a massacred, very brutal with tons of actions, no stupid music, no blurry dead bodies, a long hi- def video from original sources,

Every time I see an RPG and launcher I'm reminded of the details of how it works and what it does........ it is one of the most vicious portable weapons ever. With Javelin and even TOW there are features that rely on things not breaking on their way to the target, such as electronics and guidance wires. The RPG's rocket motor could fail but otherwise, if the warhead penetrates, inside a vehicle is Hell on Earth. In the movies, when a soldier shouts RPG, it's pretty much top priority and for awful reasons.

I was aircrew. When we fired, we had a target to hit. I don't understand blasting away with nothing in sight. It is no wonder they are blowing through ammunition faster than it can be manufactured.

@@amnac9683 You know, it wouldn't surprise me. Like it literally wouldn't. TVP World was using Half-Life sound effects for grenades in trenches where there was clearly no audio from whatever drone the video was from.

Lol I know there wasn't any audio for the BMP 2 but you should've used actual audio from a BMP2 firing instead of video game shooting and reload sounds. Still cool footage though!
I'm thinking and hoping there will be a similar outcome for Putin as with Saddam Husain, Kaddafi, Bin Laden, and all the rest of those terrorists. Russia is no better than those other terrorist states. A day of reckoning will come. And the day will also come when the world helps Ukraine to rebuild after all this senseless destruction.
