- From the Prayer Tour. I know it is a little slow but I took it from the source (old cd) and didn't edit it.

Saw the Prayer Tour at Great Woods in Massachusetts and seeing Robert emerge from the fog to play this was a quasi-religious experience. This album has such power and beauty being played live for the first time.
There are so many versions of, Plainsong, but this versions tempo brings magic to life. Waiting patiently on a Cure 2022 Tour!
The Cure is the first original Alternative/Gothic band ever,period,anyone else that came after them are total poseurs,This is the best music Ive ever heard,nothing else can even begin to approach this band,pure and total one offness,that can never,ever be duplicated,Robert Smith is a prodigy,absolute pure genius,he possesses one of the greatest musical minds of our generation,Disintegration is a complete masterwork,every song on the whole disc.
This is absolutely gorgeous. Takes my breath away. I am remembering the magic that hit me when I first heard this song 12 years ago. Thank you very much for sharing this.

Awesome opener for the Prayer Tour. My first taste of The Cure playing live at the NEC in Birmingham when I was 16 years old. Best gig I have ever been to.
I was at the NEC both nights. Had already seen the Cure so many times on previous tours dating back to 1981. Also saw them in Brum last year with the new songs which was phenomenal. But I have to agree those 2 nights in 1989 were transcendental.
oh boy, i was 17 , saw them both nights in the RDS dublin, never will forget it.

*Simon* - wish he didn't do the guitar lead truthfully
*Porl* - underrated but important
& thankfully *Boris* - a cure requirement really!!
Shame there isn't more from *The Prayer Tour* here though!!
