Found your channel a bit ago and have been enjoying seeing this Volvo process. Volvo and Subarus are banned for our promoters rules so I love seeing these being built. I run stock compacts and usually fwd but this last couple years I’ve found some RWD exceptions. I had a 96 Mercury Cougar last year and this year I have ran a 2000 Camaro and a 95 Mustang. So seeing the RWD being built and ran is so exciting! Keep up the good content!
Awesome, thanks for the good feedback! Out of curiosity, what area are those volvos and Subaru's banned? I'm a big fan of rwd compacts, and always wanted to run one. Tough to compete in a ring full of fwd's though
@@scheererdemo365 I am in Central Nebraska. Our bonestock compacts are limited to 1985+, Unibody, No Volvo, Subaru, or Crossovers. Last year with my 96 Cougar it was such a tank I ran it 5 times with the super basic build. I won 2 and a couple 2nds. I’ve found that the larger and drier they track is, the better my RWD have preformed. But with this 2000 Camaro, I’ve only ran it twice completely stock and gotten 2nd both times. I never found myself outmaneuvered except when it’s super sloppy mud in a small track. Then you are just a sitting spinning wheel target. WBody are the popular car of choice and both these cars have proven to hold their own. The Cougar was called the “Cheated” car that year even though it was within the rules and it was the most basic build.
yeah I'm not gonna pretend it didn't make me a little sad to see it destroyed but it was super entertaining to watch and I'm glad it did so well. body was solid, usually the spare tire holders are the first part to rust, really weird for an eastern canada car haha
You did a great job if you hadn't gotten backed into the corner I think you could have gotten unhooked and won it. I love it. We don't get to run diesels up here in Maine. Glad I found ur channel man. I'm definitely going to be a subscriber for life now. Send em and send em. F#$! The haters

I agree! Thanks for watching
The fact that noone snatched up the engine if you were selling it in parts suprised me. Since its normaly a i4 2.3l
Wasn't offering up the motor yet. Have a lot of people asking
That thing would be a tank as pro car
