It's 12 now can you believe it. Indy is my hometown and all of the unlikes probably come from there as well....what can you do. We can't rid the world of fools ya know.
I was at this show! He was absolutely phenomenal that night. Best guitar tone I've ever experienced in person. Andy evokes true emotions with his guitar.
Andy holds the current title as the "Master of Tone"! He is so unbelievable and such a great person. Can't believe I missed him playing down at Radio Radio, I won't make that mistake again. He's, without question, one of the greatest guitarists and definitely right next to Wes Montgomery as the greatest Hoosier guitarist. Thanks for sharing and great job documenting!
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Looking back I wish I recorded the entire show, but at some point I wanted to put the camera down and just listen, watch and enjoy...LOL, but it was absolutely an amazing performance as always.
What I love about Andy's playing is that he can shred with the best of them. But he holds back and focuses on the Melody and pulls you in so when he fires off the fast leads it hits you straight to the heart.
I had never heard of this guy before, just saw him in a Mesa demo video. Damn he's the best I am now officially a fanboy 😊 I hope he tours in Europe soon!
Just pure beautiful tone, feel, soul and shredding all mixed up in 32-33 minutes of heaven on earth! Andy just flows like a raging river in this performance!
Well I'm glad you captured what you have here....it's glorious! There's not a lot of live videos of him with a band....I would have thought there would be more but not so many.
@@billneill7567 Thank you, and I agree! He doesn't tour very often with his band...so glad I went that night. Travis Larson Band opened up and they were great too. I can't wait for live shows to start back up again!
Andy Timmons is cool as fuck! Always great playing. Glad I found your music on Spotify a few months ago. One of my favourite artists. All three musicians are top notch. But in particular, the bass player is wicked. What talent to stand behind Andy like that. Amazing playing. He reminds of a guy who I used to jam and play with years ago on Lake Erie in Canada. Forever a fan. I play both guitar and drums. Every time I hear this stuff, it makes me want to just play. Dude is an inspiration.
That first song is sooooo good. I emailed him about it, to try to get a title or something. He said it literally was a "jam" they came up with just to open the shows on the tour! I told him they really needed to record this one. It's amazing!
Holy crap - the tone at 9:12 is beautiful. Been a fan since Danger Danger days but he's taken it to the next level. Certainly a lot of Eric Johnson in this new album but Andy has a more dynamic sound I reckon
Sweet mother of GOD. I read your comment then went on about my business, listening but not watching. He hit that chord and I went, "this HAS to be what that dude was talking about!"
Andy is such a great person and it comes through in his playing. That is one the secrets of his great tone and note choice, it is his good intentions shining through.
Just saw him live at Sweetwater Gearfest. What a great musician and all round nice guy. He keeps it real and has wonderful tone. Thanks to Sweetwater and Mesa.
We were there too! What a fantastic performance that he put on. I was hoping someone would have recorded the entire show and uploaded it, but so far I can't find any footage of it. :(
turns out TH-cam is good for something ,.. found this guy's music on here ,.. amazing skill and tone , all young guitarist's should study what he's doing 🎸
Andy once mentioned that the song never had a name, it was just a "warm up jam" for the band. I love it too, and wish they would release it on the next album!
First time I have ever heard him. But I have heard you mention his name. But I don't think I have ever seen a video of you with him. This song is good. But I had not heard of him before I heard you mention him. Is he a nice guy ?
prayers for the 8 lost souls who disliked....God still loves ou
That's awesome!
It's 12 now can you believe it. Indy is my hometown and all of the unlikes probably come from there as well....what can you do. We can't rid the world of fools ya know.
ANDY TIMMONS IS A GREAT VIOLER OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL CONGRATULATIONS TEACHER AND I HOPE TO CONTINUE LISTENING TO HIM FOR MANY MORE YEARS.
I was at this show! He was absolutely phenomenal that night. Best guitar tone I've ever experienced in person. Andy evokes true emotions with his guitar.
Yes indeed! That show was remarkable. He never ceases to amaze me....and that live tone is to die for!
I saw him at at Mesa clinic in my home town, played (him and his IPOD)ALL of Sgt Peppers and others great tunes. Just da best!!!!
This guy continues to blow me away!

CoffeeDrinker71 it appears he may have a Laney Lionheart behind him, is that what it is? the one combo next to the drummer.
nevermind, I see it's a Lonestar.
CoffeeDrinker71 my friend i search everywhere for the title of the intro song but i couldn't find it out.can you please help me?
Andy’s tone, phrasing, and dynamics are stellar.. and I love the “guitar dances”.. so so good!! 🕺 🎸 🎶 🔥
That TONE !! It's like Eric Johnson meets Jimi Hendrix :) ♫
It's absolutely stunning in person!!!!
CoffeeDrinker71 I'm sure it is! 🎸☕🎶
Mesa tone 😊
I´m pretty sure he could´ve done that in any regular amp. This guy is amazing. Those Beatles songs sounded fantastic.
actually lately his dirty tone is the JHS Angry Charlie..
Andy Timmons if a beast! His tone is very EJ like, but with more grit and grind. I could listen to him for hours and still be hungry for more!
His soul is totally into every note he plays. My new favorite player.
What I love about Andy's playing is that he can shred with the best of them. But he holds back and focuses on the Melody and pulls you in so when he fires off the fast leads it hits you straight to the heart.
Excellent video, of a player I cannot get enough of. And I have most of his albums! Thanks for the upload. Oh, and subscribed. :)
Epic gig, really enjoyed that. Love Andy Timmons music, amazing playing and tone :)
I LOVE this guy! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Great job on with limited recording resources man!
Thank you very much!
This is pure singing with the guitar. Very beautiful! I hear this guy for the first time.
Timmons is simply phenomenal. A true master at his craft.
I had never heard of this guy before, just saw him in a Mesa demo video. Damn he's the best I am now officially a fanboy 😊 I hope he tours in Europe soon!
I hope you get to see him live one day Rieni! I've seen him 3-4 times and he never ceases to amaze me.
+CoffeeDrinker71 even through a smartphone mic he sounds amazing 😊
I know, right? ;) Well, the sound and tone in that room was about 10X better. He's the master at creating the best guitar tones.
Woah I've played at Radio Radio a few times. Awesome Andy played there too!
Who says that a shredder can't have soul, awesome playing
I totally agree Matt. Fucking amazing guitar talent. Stevie Ray Vaughan re-incarnated.
Just pure beautiful tone, feel, soul and shredding all mixed up in 32-33 minutes of heaven on earth! Andy just flows like a raging river in this performance!
Yes he sure does! I wish I would have captured the entire set list that night!!!
Well I'm glad you captured what you have here....it's glorious! There's not a lot of live videos of him with a band....I would have thought there would be more but not so many.

Ive always like Eric Johnsons tone but Andy rewrote the book, amazing
And that is the main reason , why Andy Timmons is highly respected in Guitar Fraternity !!! Rest my case ! Absolute champion of an instrument !
Seu timbre é característico. Fantástico!
"were going to ease into tonight with the first song" ....goes on to blow me away within less then 3 minutes LOL
That first song is sooooo good. I emailed him about it, to try to get a title or something. He said it literally was a "jam" they came up with just to open the shows on the tour! I told him they really needed to record this one. It's amazing!

I'm in complete awe! Wow! I've listened to Andy before but come on, does he get better with age?

Digging him on the Fender. Great tone here. Ibanez sounds good too, but man Fender is like an angelic chiming tone.
I agree! That Fender rang like a bell.
But that's actually an Ibanez with a strat-like body.
We love you Andy 😊
I love playing, you, my friend, are a guitarist's guitarist. lol, sure though, you've heard that before. Inspirational, thank you.
Just saw him live at Sweetwater Gearfest. What a great musician and all round nice guy. He keeps it real and has wonderful tone. Thanks to Sweetwater and Mesa.

This is so awesome... Whats that intro tune?

Amazing! Amazing tone master! Why he doesn't use
Kemper, Helix or Axe, hmm that's why.
Yeah, that's a great point. He's the master at creating the most beautiful tones with those Mesa amps!

There's so many good bends in that song!
