    That you for your great advise. 2013 Tundra 5.7 started having a hiccup while driving. We followed your advise and cleaned the maf. Thought this fixed it, but it continues along with random stalling while driving.
    No engine light on.
    59,000 easy miles and we are stumped.
    Thank you.

      2008 Tundra 5.7 260,000 miles, same issue with engine momentarily dying and restarting while driving. Had to replace the MAF with new. Cleaning the old one wasn't fixing the issue for me.

      No just disconnect the connection and remove MAF from the housing and spray away. Alway do it disconnected from the housing.

      Marcos González! Eso es cuando iba a 60 mpg talvez más y si le pisaba el gas no respondía si no más bien no tenía fuerza y mas bien cabeciaba! Eso solo cuando quería rebasar! En menos de 45mpg andaba normal! Pero un día decidí revisar la bomba de gas y encontré el problema en los conectores d la bomba como quemados los limpie y los engrase y se acabó el problema! Para eso tuve que bajar el tanque de gas y revisar todos las confecciones de cables a la bomba! Checa la tuya y suerte man

    • @mannys9130
      @mannys9130 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      alwaleed alhinai Don't use anything other than MAF sensor cleaner as shown in his video. Other products will leave residue behind that will ruin the sensor.
      It's not required to clean it, but debris gets stuck to it. Eventually it'll burn out or you'll get a check engine light prompting you to clean or replace it.

      What !!!!
      NEVER disconnect Battery Cable on 1996 ( OBD-2 ) vehicles unless it is Absolutely Necessary....Cleaning the Mass Ảir Flơw Sensors fall into the "Not Necessary Category"
      1) Gonna erase all of the Customers Assigned Radio Stations
      2) The Customer has a Smog Check Inspection hêre in California the next day @ High Noon..Car will automatically Fail because all of the OnBoard Diagnostic Monitors were previously displaying "Ready" , now they're displaying "Not Ready"
      If # 1 & # 2 participation is gonna create conflicts, make da_ _ sure you plug a Real Battery Saver into the Cigarểtte Lighter.

    What is the filter that is in the vover of the air filter box

    • @mannys9130
      @mannys9130 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kennneth Ehrlich It's not a filter. It's a sheet of activated charcoal that absorbs gasoline fumes after you turn the engine off. The gasoline vapors would normally escape the intake backwards through the air filter, but that charcoal sheet catches them. Raw gas vapors in the atmosphere create smog.

      I just learned that the MAF measures the air flow and sends the result to the ECU which calculate the amount of fuel to deliver.If it is dirty ,wrong info is sent to ECU. So more fuel consumption.
