Many people consider their process proprietary to their brand. Like asking a Major fast-food chain whats in the "secret sauce" if you will. Nugsmasher does it because they sell machines, they arent worried about people taking their "market share" of actual THC/CBD product sales.

THC-A is a cannabinoied that when heat activated converts to THC. THC-A is most prominent in the plant itself before harvest/combustion/exposure to a heat source.
Hence anything coming off a press is going to lean more heavily on the THC side vs the THC-A side.. it is decarbing while you press.
Why do you think you start to see vaporization when you start going above 205 when pressing.
I'm 'guessing' that's why you didn't show testing results on levels.
There is no way you can expose cannabinoieds to a increasing pressure/heat source duration and get a higher THC-A content, it just doesn't work out like that.
Man! Just watching you do your thing shows me how much I must learn about pressing.
You my friend!! You do wonders on all them presses. Spend some time with your head grower and or a master: grower/washer a 'hashishin' and you could become absolutely amazing.
Believe me, you haven't topped out.
If you can learn the art of hashish and combine that with what you know.. let's just say synergy.
Especially if you're innovative.
Decarbing even at the max temp used here (205f) would take a couple of hours. Imagine mixing pure thca isolate (a white crystalline powder/solid) with some terpenes, plant lipids, etc. He's just heating and pressing those more volatile liquids out while leaving the solid (still carboxylated) thca crystals behind before they substantially melt/decarb into pure thc oil. If you have high thca % wax and let it sit, the thca eventually comes of solution as a pure thca crystal "diamond." You can speed up this process without using heat by putting concentrate in a centrifuge to separate all of the unwanted fats and oils from the solid thca chunks. There are videos of this on youtube and the thca chunks look very similar to what was produced here. Just my two cents.

I wanted to do stuff like this when I was younger. Wanted to grow the ultimate weed and come up with new extraction methods. But no, apparently that was all a waste of time according to the squares/parents. Never should have given up on the dream man.

We have a question .We are new to this.What kind of machine do I need to smoke this
Low temp dabs or sprinkled in a j or blunt
Hella ways, gets glass rig and there's different types of bangers and eNails, there's electric rigs like puffco, there's nectar collectors which are usually sillicone and titanium, there is glass and electric ones to, an you can put dab in js, blunts, and on the top of bowls just inhale lightly most oth the time an make the bowl last like 30 seconds so the dab heats up to the right temp, if you do it right itll look like you have a fire on your bowl cuz the bads are catching fire an heating up
Our neighboring town in So. Cal. has approved a cannabis lounge. I think they should have one of your machines making fresh rosin for their dab bars,. I will talk to them when they start building it.

Man I love these videos. Can I decarb the isolate to use in recipes, say like your gummy bears tutorial? Will that give a less weed flavor? When I buy edibles I can't even taste the weed sometimes, but if I make my own, it's very pungent.
Hey Matthew, Yes you can make your own oil with your decarb capsule to make your own edibles now. That would be at 245 temp for 20 mins and let cool for at least for 30 mins. This video is on TH-cam as well. And depending on the ingredients you use will help determine the taste of your edibles as well.

yes, but expect a LOT of practice!
Can you isolate on the nug smasher mini? Would be cool if you did a video on the mini isolation process… it doesn’t have a gage so idk how I would isolate
It can be done but very difficult as you cant see pressure like you could on a Xp with the gauge.

What dehydration porcentage of cannabis plant do you recomend before processing into nugs masher machine?
What happen if the cannabis plant is totally deshidrataded ( 100 % ) ?

we recommend to be in betweeen 60-70%
To further the Smashers wisdom, I find it varies in said range depending on flower strains etc... 62% is my starting point for gauging.
I bought Nugs smashing XP ... and I'm expecting for that .
Do you recomend getting a " pre press machine " ?
because in your mashing videos you didn't use ...
If your pressing a large volume of flower then it would be helpful for loading bags faster. Ideally best use if for bubble hash or kief product.
When get a Rosin butter Is necessary decarb for obtaining the body action ?...or the rosin butter with the heat of the " nugs mashing machine" is enough for activating the product ? .

hello Ryan and nugsmasher team - quick question if I was to extract THCa in this form is there a easy way for my mom who has cancer to consume this? THCa seems really beneficial for her but smoking or dab is not an option. Sorry for the silly question am new to this

What happens if I first extracted the terpenes by hidrodestilation method then dehydrated the material plant and after that processing into Nugs masher machine ?
not too sure about that process but you may not get a great yeild at the end.
Wont get much back and what you do would taste awful.
Can the rosin be too buttered up?
No, you just want to get it so it in a moldable state as a square to fit in bag. As product warms up it makes it easier to mold as well.

What do you do with thcA isolate? Genuine question.
Hi Bradley it can be added to recipes for making edibles or dissolved in oil to make tinctures and then ingested orally. In contrast, many people enjoy dabbing or vaping THCa isolate.
lots of people mix it with other forms of dabs. Look up THCa crystals aka diamonds. That is true THCa isolation in its purest form. Crystalized.
Would this work with your 25u 6 inch squares if I don't have the 15u?
it can but for a better isolate you really want to go smaller on the micron if possible

No, the THCA isolation is from already extracted rosin in this case.

We just let ours sit at room temp, but every strain will be different and may need other methods!

It wont make sense until you account for the pressure being spread over a set area (the material pressure, not the point measurement of the guage). Only way to have that info accurately available live is digitally.

Till your lungs give up from tar buddy, legit, look it up! Dabs at a minimum if you don't want cancer as well, below 250 Celsius = no benzoates etc. Your joint cant give you that safety.
