    He's the first person I've heard suggest that Clingan entering the draft wasn't a foregone conclusion. I'm assuming that he's just behind the curve here.

      I think he meant to say Karaban.

      @@AlexanderLaFontaine He means Clingan. Clingan loves being at Uconn and as much as he may want to go pro it's rumored he would rather enjoy another year at college not only for the basketball.

    I wonder why he thinks Clingan is coming back, who’s projected in top 5? Did he mean Karaban?

    Clingan is going, but he should stay. He has some work on his game to be NBA ready. Edey stayed and it probably helped him. Klingan should do the same.

    I think he meant Karaban. Clingan is gone for sure. It'll be Nowell, Ball, Stewart, Karaban, Samson + a bunch of portal guys. If they can get a big time guard like a Spencer or Newton again, along with another shooter, they can be very competitive again.

    Clingan most likely gone since right now he is projected the 5th pick and UConn most likely goes after Ballo in the portal.

      Because they're winning titles, right? Easy uncomplicated conclusion to reach, I suppose.

    If Stephon Castle stayed and they built the team slightly around him, they definitely could 3peat but erroneously Castle is not staying. The kid is very good but he’s too green for the pros.

      As much as I wish he would stay, if you’re a lottery pick, you gotta take that opportunity. He will not be a star right away but Stephon has shown tremendous maturity and patience for a freshman. From starting the season injured to growing his role but still being behind Newton. I saw a lot of patience and willingness to learn. His game will grow exponentially faster in the league vs another year in college.

    He should go get the money while he's a lottery pick. He can get another foot injury and then his stock could drop

    1000% no way uconn wins next season championship. No way. Lock.

    UCONN is a damn good program, but there's a mundane- ness about them that I think will cause the sport to lose fans interest. They aren't quite the " love to hate" Duke of the 90's/early 2000's,& they aren't the " brash"/ " transcendent " Fab 5 that you HAD to watch. I predict that if the Huskies are as good next season as the past two that many fans will not even bother investing their time,& emotions into watching.

    • @jerodgraham6623
      @jerodgraham6623 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      That’s not their problem. Their job is to win to the best of their ability. They’re not going to “hold back” to make games more competitive, or change their style of play to better entertain the normies.

    • @phillipcotton833
      @phillipcotton833 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jerodgraham6623 you're right,& I'm not suggesting that it's " their problem". I am even open to the possibility of being TOTALLY WRONG. It's just an observation mixed in with predictions. Ya know....what we do in the sports world. 👌

      All they care about is excellence. I think if they can keep maintaining their level they can be a huge brand like the UConn women's team...pure excellence. Don't underestimate the branding appeal of UConn back when Rip Hamilton, Ray Allen and Caron Butler were in the NBA, I saw lots of dudes like Nelly and JayZ wearing UConn jerseys.
